Good morning, how has everyone's week been? Dare I say it, but it's starting to feel like Spring! Albeit with a wooly jumper with me just in case! So today as the title would suggest I'm sharing lots of style tips and outfit ideas of how you can easily elevate your workwear. Featuring lots of elegant office outfits that make me feel polished and put together, even though I work from home, it's about getting in that list ticking mode and having the right outfit really helps me do that! But which is your favourite look? I'd love to hear what you all think to that workwear dress? And what about that new ecru two piece, we like? Thanks for this video, I often dress in “business casual” even though I’m retired. I don’t like wearing jeans (fit problems) or any sloppy athletic look. My leggings, joggers and tees are for at home.
It's fascinating how much more formal your workwear is in the UK.
Here in France, besides very few super formal environments, nobody wears suits to work, including top management. It's still interesting to get inspired and dress down the looks to suit our casual offices (where we can wear hoodies, jeans, and sneakers)
Aah really, that's interesting, I imagined in France the office would be fairly laidback but not hoodies and jeans etc. I suppose that makes life easier but I'm not sure how much I'd get ticked off my list haha! I do find strangely I'm so much more productive when I dress up as such:) Happy Sunday, hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend:)
@FashionStyleEdit some companies / departments within a company are indeed more laid back especially IT and marketing.
When people come to work in a suit, it's usually a random clueless intern on their first day or a gen Z playing dress up.
Or maybe someone who just likes looking smart🤷🏼♀️
I love all of these ideas. I work in a school office and usually go with trousers and blouses. I definitely want to try wearing dresses this summer as gets so warm 😊 xxx

Thank you so much for filming this one - some lovely outfits! My favourite on you was the polka dot blouse with the black neck bow. Those trousers are beautiful - gorgeous cut and drape ❤ My own office environment is much more casual, so I elevate good-quality opaque leggings with oversize knitwear and chunky boots in the colder months, and linen dresses with trainers when it's warmer. Your videos always give me ideas for colour combinations, and I also enjoy seeing how you accessorise your outfits. Fabulous!

I love having at least one beautiful, lightweight wool suit in my wardrobe (with breathable linings). This spring I got a beautiful ivory one from Theory, the fabric quality and overall design and construction quality are lovely. I plan to get another, perhaps in navy, soon. I always feel great in a suit, with any top from a silk blouse, linen shirt, to a high-quality knit sweater or top. A suit, or other matching set, always looks polished, elegant and chic and is appropriate for so many occasions. I just keep the accessories not-too-dressy for everyday wear.
Oh Theory do stunning tailoring don’t they👌🏻 I was just looking at their new pieces the other day actually, worryingly could happily add a whole lot to basket!

I work freelance and could, perhaps be dressed down all day. I don’t though because I wouldn’t feel professional and I like having a reason to wear something a bit more structured and dressy. 🙂

Thank you. This is such a terrific Spring styling session for Work Jess.👏 To put some personal expression back into our everyday dressing was a great boost after Winter! My favourite was the navy suit worn with five tops. It had ease, the way you wore it, and looked very flexible for a work capsule. My favourite tops were the unexpected ones - the beautiful print lemon knit, and the dark caramel print blouse.

A beautiful well cut suit is definitely worth the price it catches the eye of most people interested in fashion and the owner has years of value from her investment. 0f course classic cut, classic colour etc I’m not saying a one season style colour cut suit 🙏

Great vlog again Jess, Love the tweedy dress and excellent jacket, which look better on you than the Me & Em model LOL! The butter colour Sezane T is great colour this season, hoping for more options around soon. Outfit 6 excellent jeans outfit, the Ecru suit lovely on you too. I am retired now but still enjoy all your vlogs, colour combo ideas and smart looks. I am glad the trend of omitting a belt has passed, maybe the scruffy one side of the shirt hanging out will soon be gone too. Will models ever smile more to make us feel buying the outfit would make us happy? Such miserable faces & horrible poses these days are a real turn off IMO. x

My son is getting married in July in a vineyard north of Lisbon. His fiance😇 is originally from an hour outside of Manchester, she came to Ireland when she was 10 years old. Anyway, the theme of the wearing is pink. I am on the hunt for a cerise pink(very white skin) wedding dress, midi length, and full skirt/if possible (or kinda) for dancing. I would love some assistance, Jess. I am 5ft5 and a size 8/10, small bust but have a pair of Shakira hips. Lol 😊
@europeanliving6077 Such a great upcoming wedding you've described. Remember, if you happen to see that style of dress in a different colour or pattern (hopefully with pink in the print) you can always go PINK! with your hat, bag, shoes etc. Could also help you to stand out in the photos if others are in solid pink. Anyway, have fun planning.
