These Southwest pilots are wild west cowboys with those taxi speeds. Every Southwest plane I've been on is in a hurry. 🤣
What a ridiculous comment. EVERY plane has to be in a "hurry" for take off, cursing and landing. You can't slow on an airplane. They can't fly at 65 mph'
@@michael91411 what are you even talking about? I know that an aircraft must maintain a minimum speed in order to fly. My comment specifically references taxi speeds. They are known for being a "a bit quick" on taxiways. I am really not certain what you're on about. Makes no sense really.
@@michael91411 i’m pretty sure he was just making light of them taxing fast.
Its normal speed for the 737
30 knot taxi speed according to several SWA captains I've spoken to. Honestly, that's usually a VERY common taxi speed for airliners. If you go to any airport and just watch the planes as they taxi on the ramp, taxiways, or where ever and they're moving right along. As a Cessna pilot myself, we taxi at around half that speed or slower.
Those were some impressive cumulonimbus clouds starting at 1:40:00, much love for the Southwest 737.💙❤️🧡
Amazing stuff. For anyone that doesn't want to watch the whole flight you got to see the video around that time. You'll even see lightning from up above.
yeah that's a really big cold front
1:40:00 was absolutely stunning. I miss flying. 😔
Terrifying
Try paramotor :D. It's like paraglider but with prop :D.
The audio is incredible, using a pair of 15" mains , with a pair of 10" powered subwoofers. Amp set on 7 channel surround. The combination of sound and ultra HD makes this video outstanding. After takeoff I started to wonder what kind of hassle I was in for at the baggage claim. Very well done!
I love the taxi and takeoff... really beautiful, and the storm clouds and night sky are mind blowing!! Thank you for these uploads!✈️
No problem. As always, thank you for watching my friend.
That storm is butter.
WOW, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is so real I even see the wings flexing. More video's please
Amazing right!? I’m using the Real Life Sim 2020 add-on. 😂
@@sla31 wondering how a sim will look in 2030 or 2040 maybe it will looks better then real life taxi is going so fast at 11:45 it will almost takeoff
Nasa called they want their computer back
@@GrannysPimple Skylite is good shut up

Nice video my dear friend!😍🛩✈️
I flew on a 732 in the late '80's. I had a window seat just a little forward of engine no.1. I would have preferred it if my seat was behind it in order to see those old clam-shell reversers in action. What A Difference.
Thank you, people that put the title as full flight show the video that isn't a full flight. Thank you for being honest.
I loved the thrust reverser spray
The flight attendant was awesome! I want him on my flight lol "We don't like them, we know you don't like them but, please don't make it a thing."
He was extremely gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that!
1hr 40 the way you can see the storm in the clouds, beautiful. Great video
1:40:00
That has to be one of the most beautiful flight video on the internet. The setting sun lighting up the storm clouds was awesome. It looked like a grand oil painting. I had Beethoven's 5th symphony playing and it was perfect for the view.
Thanks for watching my friend. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
"WOW" this flight had everything, fantastic.A big thumbs up from me well done!
I'm glad you enjoyed it my friend. Thanks for watching!
Even a baby lol
I'm going on a plane tomorrow to Orlando but I'm going at like 7 am I'm still excited my favorite part of a plane will always be the takeoff when the plane speeds up on the runway
Have a great trip my friend!
Something about those GE engines sound so cool, especially when the pilots start to rev up, such a sweet sound
Pretty sure those are cfm-56’s
Storm looks straight out of Flash Gordon!
straight outta compton
I gotta agree with everyone this is a great video. You really got some nice shots of that thundercloud. And that taxi was the fastest I'd ever seen getting to the runway.
AWESOME ⛈ THUNDERSTORM FOOTAGE!
I am excited to fly again. Even as a travel agent, I love Southwest Airlines!
Video of the thunderstorm is cool.
Spectacular! Great clarity on the LAS departure and Grand Canyon filming .... plus you had the great weather and light as well. Good job!
where is the grand canyon timestamp pls?
@@sandeshts9190 Take your pick! The Grand Canyon area starts almost immediately passing Lake Mead on take off from LAS, so from about 32 minutes on. At @41.14 you can actually make out a straight lighter coloured line under the port winglet, which is Grand Canyon National Park Airport, just south of Tusayan. And just right on screen (north, and north east in reality) is the Grand Canyon Village and Grandview Point (plus other viewing areas on the South Rim). Fire Road 776 is the straight line coming out of the engine casing and end ending in the bottom right corner of the scree. Hope this helps. Google Map it.
41:14
Asoblutly magnificent 5 star rating !!
Thunderstorms wind rain lightning dark and turbulence - AND a total boss pilot does a perfect smooth landing! Great video!
So I'm watching the video and digging it, as usual, when I realize I'm feeling slightly queasy. Turns out it's because the video is looking backward. I remember when Southwest had backward-facing seats (maybe they still do but I don't think so). Loved riding in them. Now I can't even watch that viewpoint on a computer screen without getting vertigo. Man, I'm getting old. Lol.
One of my favorite videos of yours (so far). Absolutely beautiful scenery! It must’ve been a wonderful trip! ✈
Mine too. If only I could capture views like this on every flight.
From one weather extreme to another. So beautiful. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it. As always, thanks for watching!
wowww what a flight i especially love the storms comming into tulsa great video
Spectacular video. When I was a child and into my teens, I dreamed of being an airline pilot. Somewhere along the way I listened to really bad advice and went in a different direction. It’s when I watch amazing videos like this that I sincerely regret that.
Well, I’m glad you enjoyed the video. And, I’m sorry you feel regret in that way. Hopefully things still worked out okay for you though!
@@sla31 thank you kindly! Stunning video, liked and sub’d!
Damn, that’s impressive footage indeed 😍
I dont like how wobbly that wing is
During descente there s a huge impressive cumulonimbus or stormcloud
Man look at that storm...amazing video! Thanks!
14:27 if i were on that plane i would be so happy that i have noise cancelling headphones on
Me too. Crying babies are seriously annoying when you’re just trying to have a peaceful flight
I had it once and I WAS JUST IN FRONT AND THEY WERE BEHIND ME AND IT WAS ANNOYING!!! And mother didn't do anything she just sat doing nothing! And the others started complaining about the baby and me I was trying to listen to music to go try to ignore the crying...I remember it was a girl who was a crying, there was also a boy but he was not crying
It's a nightmare scenario Crying baby for two hours It would absolutely ruin it for me
Amazing E Flat Pitched Motor!!
I could see my house but had no idea the clouds were
that awesome in the east that day! Bad ass planet!
We haven't had any weather really in about 170 days.
Very cool! I hope I get the chance to fly one day
Awesome capture of Lightening bolt outside of the cloud!
LIGHTNING
Great vid. But those thunderheads were super cool.
Wonderful video, thank you for sharing!
amazing how you went into total darkness once you entered the clouds!!
Love the Las Vegas scenery!
Didn't notice he was on one engine for most of the taxi until 10:35 you can hear engine #1 firing up. Great stuff
Man do I love high speed taxis
Just love watching these videos.....thanks so much!
I’m glad! Thanks for watching!
Cruising in a 737 is the best!!!!!
The rate of how dark it gets! And those clouds! Great vid 👌
1:41:17 Thats heaven right there.
beautiful. sure is. i love flying southwest.
The lightning in the clouds around 1:38:20 and after was pretty sweet!
Watched while eating.. So cool :D
Honestly, that's a great way to watch them. Thanks for watching my friend!
Your videos where you don't skip the safety announcements >>>>>>
Beautiful wing and engine view
I love McCarran airport. I flew into it back in 2012 and I loved it. Not many people know it but Las Vegas can get some very heavy downpours and when it rains it comes in buckets. It was 120 there for 3 straight days and when I flew out it was stormy.
I love southwest and I hope you love it as much as I do
it most be tiring holding your arm while your recording
thank you so much
for doing something tthat i enjoy watching
god blees you
It does get tiring, but I want only the best footage, and holding the camera allows me to do that. Thanks for watching my friend!
@@sla31 ironic😂
And I always thought you used a suction cup on the window. Great footage!
@@sla31 Try using something like a gummy glue that doesn't leave a residue when you remove the phone(?) from the window?
Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Your videos. So glad I subscribed to your Channel. Still remember my 1st flight, it was aboard an American Airlines DC-10 flight from DTW to SAN. After the flight is when all hell broke loose. I've entered the gates of the Marine Corps Recruit Depot for 13wks of the toughest thing I've ever done in my adult life 🤣 As for the Grinch complaining about the crying Baby, You've done the same thing at a very young age. Show some Love and Respect to the Parents of their Baby. 💞💞💞
Love beautiful nature skylight! Thanks for your footage👍🏻
this is spectacular
Is it just me or is when he was taxing he was going really fast.
I think that’s the usual taxi speed for the 737s cause I have been on a few southwest flight and they were taxing pretty fast
Buttered the landing
1:39:30 lightnings
10:58 - You can see the Vegas strip in the background and that is why the airport is so close to the city itself
I do miss the sound of those Boeing 737 engines. I do miss the steel bird.
me too !
i miss flying, i miss travel so much, i always enjoyed it
i like your videos nice realxing enterteining plu i enjoy all the city that you show while your recording
Showing my age, but I remember when everything off that left wing tip during take off-DID NOT EXIST, just desert. Looked like the TRALR.9 Departure, Pilot was speed & altitude restricted at first. From the clear desert skies to a golden deck of clouds, and then those huge CU's. He had to slow down in order to penetrate them storms. And finally down to a rainy night in Tulsa. This was a really nice flight, Glad you got to fly and record it for us all.
I’m glad you enjoyed it my friend. It was a spectacular flight!
Best aviation videos on CZcams. Keep up the great work!
Thanks my friend! I really appreciate that!
These wonderful videos will fill in quite nicely to satisfy my constant desire to board a plane. To Feel that wonderful take off. And just ... flyyyyyyyyyyyyy. 😊xxx❤️
COULD NOT HAVE SAID IT ANY BETTER!😫
As always a great video!!!
Beautiful clouds and lightnings.
The buzzsaw is still there the entire flight wow never seen that before
And a crying baby! Of course...thank God for noise canceling headphones!

50,000 Ft. Thunderhead!
Excellent video... I have always enjoyed flying into and out of Las Vegas....I wish you flew out at night...it is always an amazing view... Thank you.
That would be some amazing views. I'll have to see about doing that someday. Thanks for watching my friend!
Ahhh, here I am again. back at this video 4th or 5th time..
Thank you for brightening all my days
My pleasure my friend. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Cool with the clouds coming in. I have not flown in planes for awhile now but yeh can appreciate videos like this. Amazing can keep a camera trained on window for that long lol.
Glad you enjoyed it my friend! Thanks for watching!
My man didn’t even turn on the second engine till he was taxiing
Logan Ellis Sheppard Thats a normal procedure
no one going to talk about that taxi though those guys were in a rush
01:40:00 - 01:47:00 is truly a beautiful sight
Whew, those clouds are gorgeous but looks like one hell of a weather cell to fly through! Very nice 😍
The rain flowing from right to left on the window right above the engine cowling is a neat visual effect; it look like something along the line of sparks coming from the engine, but if that part was real, people would be losing their minds by then.
Wow! What an amazing video!
Thankyou for this! I have been looking for LAS-TUL flight all over! BTW really nice view of the engine and wing!
Leaving Las Vegas and great views of downtown and McCarren on your 180 deg turn out to the east. Then arriving in stormy Tulsa and don't those thunderheads just make all human life seems very small and insignificant? And then I guess you still had a two hour drive home in the pouring rain? Well done B and regards from the UK :-)
Yeah, it was an interesting drive home, that's for sure. It was beautiful cup in the sky though, that's for sure! Looking at this out the window was definitely one of those moments that made me ponder things a little deeper. Thanks for watching my friend!
such a great flight. but the way this is fantastic that you can hear the engine roar while cruise i barely see such videos with a little buzz sound in sky high and the approach with those elegant clouds was wonderful and a nice complement for this great flight .All the bests !
Wow wandrfull
Thx for uploading, wish I could afford to fly this much lol!
I wish I could afford it too haha. 😂 Thanks for watching man!
Great presentation, sunny take off from KLAS, dark rainy landing at KTUL and massive thunderhead clouds and lightning in the middle, what more could you ask for? Well done and regards from the UK :-)
Simply epic!💛💛💛💛Beyond wordz best utube channel .Felt like was sitting right there in the plane woooooow.🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thanks for sharing Skylite great flight ✈️ ✈️🇺🇸🇺🇸😷😷👍
I flew Southwest Airlines to myrtle beach int airport and it was nice flight
Flew by a supercell I think
Did the crew forget to tell that you were, (actually), landing in a thunderstorm? I had a flight like that once on a Montreal-Toronto flight. I love rough flights. it adds atmosphere. When day turns into night. There was also a gremlin sitting on the wingtip.
Had a similar flight from Calgary returning home to Toronto. Worst flight ever - moderate to severe turbulence throughout most of the flight. It was September 1992 - freezing in Calgary and hot and humid in Toronto! We flew over a series of Thunderstorms and that plane shook, rattled and rolled unil we started descending. Forgot to bring an extra pair of shorts, but I survived. We were told under no circumstances to get up from our seat. The flight attendant told me when I tried to head to the bathroom - and I quote" Better buckle up, it's going to be a bumpy ride until we land". Nice! Not! LOL!
@@audiobooksmore3374 when I see clouds like that my heart starts beating fast. I'm really afraid of turbulence.
@@rexx9496 I hear ya. And what you described would have me crapping my shorts!!
The thumbnail looks pretty!Nice inflight my friend!😉
Brilliant concept. Feels like we are flying along with you. Outstanding quality. I guess these videos have some sort of meditational value as well. :-)
Many people do just that. Use them for meditation/relaxation. I appreciate you watching my friend, regardless of the reason. I normally reply much quicker but I’ve been on a marathon 8 day trip Filipino new flights. I’ve just had a chance to get caught up.
