For me a lot of the sadder key shows incorporated snow and made it a key plot device to foreshadow something unfortunate but even if the sight of snow was a sign of sad things to come the way the snow is typically executed like the animation and stuff is always mystifying
I always listen to this all winter or when it gets cold. It's perfect for long walks by yourself in the winter or just when you need to think about something.
bassgasmask bassgasmask bassgasmask be careful what you wish for.. I could relate so much to this show. I’m always running between friends and trying to be there for them all emotionally. All my friends are girls for the most part but that’s because I’m not some creep. I just find girls more emotional and something about that draws me closer to them than guys. I guess they make me feel more cared about than guy friends do which is nice so it’s easier to care about them on a deeper level than a guy friend. Lots of girls that come my way for friendship have many life issues... one had MS which was hard, she passed last year. All her painful days where she couldn’t move just broke my heart. I guess they like that I don’t have judgment and take on whatever they want to tell me anything from their mum abusing them to health conditions to a psycho ex boyfriend abuser. I don’t know why I care but I can’t help it my hearts too big. There’s a lot of people who are very invisible to everyone else but I always see them and that’s what draws them to me. Pain and sadness makes the heart grow stronger I guess. I’m just full of love that’s my biggest flaw. It’s almost a curse.. be careful what you wish for. You don’t want a life like a key studios anime. Trust me.
Something about this track in particular just feels… so 2006. I guess because it kind of sounds like something from a DS game or a Sims game from the 2000s. Wow those were some good times
Wow this just take straight back to the days I was watching the show as if I'm still heavily invested in what's gonna happen next how the ending will truly bring everything all together.
remember the first time we met yea i remember going home and no one was home so that night i was going to cut myself with a box cutter. i remember sitting on my bed the moon was shinnig through the window and hear the laughter of the people i met that day and how happy they were. i then started crying i dont know why but i was laughing also its like all the sadness i had was letting go.
My first playthrough was with Mai. She remained my fav character even after playing all the others. This song may be used for other chars as well, but it only reminds me of Mai, especially the part at 00:46
It's a style that was popular during the early 2000's (just look at anime from that time period; you'll see a lot like this) that kinda died down lately. Even the art style of the Kanon artist herself, Itaru Hinoue, has already evolved over time: it still looks distinctly moe, but it's much closer to the modern moe look nowadays. You may want to check out their new VN Harmonia and see for yourselves.
Man I loved the animation of the backgrounds in this Anime, idk why, but I've always been fascinated with snow more than I should be.
+The Angry Dango of Doom I know what ya mean. its water for me
the animation was top notch

I love watching snow fall. Honestly I find myself in a trance just watching it fall.

sigh... if only lifer were like a Anime, but maybe it's more like that for people in Japan, just not as crazy.
+bassgasmask probably so.

Wish I were you. I live in literal hell in a tropical island , well, at least I can relate to the AIR and Summer Pockets OST
@@thewitchpolyglot6625 funny enough I prefer the heat. So I think feeling of AIR is nice in its own way.
Jun maeda was a good writer. Thanks for writing this awesome anime. I think You didn't deserve the hate

I know exactly what you mean
This plays in a lot of scenes, but the scene with the fountain and Shiori is what I remember most with this song.
0:50 okay but the piano solo 🔥🔥 they didn’t have to go that hard 🗿💪
I love to listend to the Kanon OST in Winter
This will always remind me of Shiori wandering the snowy schoolgrounds.
yunocchi Same !

I wonder if Nujabes ever saw/played Kanon...I feel like he would've dug the soundtrack.
Francis Cooper Nujabes is awesome. I'm sure he's heard of this anime before. He might even know the visual novel since it came out late 90s.
Great, now I need a lofi remix of this. You will be missed Nujabes!
I personally believed he didn't bother or cared about that series he was a lot more passionate about music.
its the bells that make this track so unique
This is gonna be worth rewatching.
it definitely is. kanon and clannad both have amazing rewatchability.
Kanon ost is insane
remember the first time we met
yea

howdy. i come here frequently and have been over the past decade. thanks for uploading this video so many years ago.
Pure Snows-the best;)
My favorite song off the album
this song is so beatifull, it reminds me shiori
just now im listening this and the piano version at the same time=)
Perfect for the snowy times
Nayuki
Damn... feelings... feelings everywhere!
Can never hear bells the same since Makoto and Hiyori :( Lol. This reminds me of night fishing in Animal Crossing for some reason
Same :(
Revy Two-Hands Same! When I heard the first Jingle, I was like “Animal Crossing City Folk.” Lol 1:26
I love this song
Why don't they make anime with girls w/ huge eyes like Kanon and Clannad anymore
It's a unique art style that's often criticized for being jarring but I love it
+Ushio Okazaki i know right? Me too. Now all the girls seem so generically made.

With this art style i just can see more clrearly the Emotions and its more real
The reason it feels more emotive is because the eyes are the most expressive part of the body. It's why anime emphasizes them so much.
makes me think of Shiori
I love it
0:48 Epic piano is epic.
my best track
Perfect animal crossing winter song
This grooves so hard
Vengo después de años :( ❤
que lindo!!!!^^
Me hace recordar mi infancia en los 2000s
This one was played a lot. ^_^
Remind i'm open this song when coming sapa vietnam
Too cold and missing someone....
For some reason, this reminds me of Sayuri. I don't even know if this played during any of the scenes with her, but somehow it does.
Maybe but the first time it plays in the animé is on the hill top in epi one.
How sublime...
Makoto.. its time to wake up now 😭
im able to understand what they're saying in the show but it was so hard to focus when i was jamming out to that piano playing
I'm sure you probably have a few good points, probably have a few good points, probably have a few good points, stuff like that.
2020 anyone? :)
Me
But not in 2020
In 2022
@@yaobeduin9800 😂 ohh okayy
this music makes me think on Nayuki
This play when they first go to the hill and watch the city down below, then a fox appear.
@Bowserian Yeah it played in a couple of her scenes
@makingabang Mai is my favorite character too! Yay Mai!
this right herethiswowimok
Love it :)
Well, it is her theme.
nope it's her theme....but i guess the strings of Shojo no ori
I can play this song
Me too
Isn't this played when Mai goes on a rampant after Sayuri is hurt by the "ghosts"?
Cmon just be kind and h
