It needs to be hardwired to 240 volts to really feel the heat. Mine is hardwired to 208 volts & I have to turn the heat off it warms the place up too much.
The strange part is that the living room outlets are somehow missing ground yet the copper wire for ground is there. Same thing for the dining room outlets.
