Ishita Adhikary is an eminent reciter of recent times. She started her journey from rural Bengal and gradually conquered all hurdles, she is awarded Shalimar - Anandabazar 'Adwitia'. apart from being 'Adwitia, she has won a number of awards and felicitations in the field of recitation, 'Bharat Nirman Award' is one of such feather in the crown in recent times. Ishita has travelled a number of places to perform, her recent tour to Bangladesh was well acclaimed both by critics and audience of that country. Apart from being a voice artist Ishita Das Adhikary is a MBA with Post Graduation in Physics. Ishita performs regularly on All India Radio and Doordarshan.
She recites works of old and contemporary Bengali poets like Rabindranath Tagore, Nazrul Islam, Sukumar Ray , Shankha Ghosh Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay and Sukanta Bhattacharya to name a few.
