I think they should do away with parties. Let the top 2 people run against each other. Personally, I don't care if someone is Democrat or Republican, I'm going to listen to what they say and vote for the person thats going to do the most for me based on what I believe in. I don't want to accidentally vote for someone that says high food costs, high gas prices and food shortages are just something we have to deal with. Tell those new mothers that who can't find formula to feed their little babies.

I think it's safe to say that Jim Pillen is somebody who accepted the results of the 2020 election, and rejected Trump's lie that it was stolen. I see him as a moderate, decent Republican, much like Governor Larry Hogan is. This is a major victory for the State of Nebraska. I hope to see more of that in other red states.
