DIY Brake pad change on a Nissan Np200 at HOME.

    Tools required
    no 13 spanner/socket / no 14 spanner / New brake pads / Water pump pliers or screw driver or you can use your wheel spanner.
    Step 1 - Purchase your brake pads for your Nissan NP200.
    Step 2 - Ensure your vehicle is parked on a flat surface before jacking the vehicle up, also turn your steering in which ever direction that will give you access to removing the 2 bolts which hold your brake caliper.
    Step 3 - Open your brake fluid cap which is located on the top left hand side corner of your engine bay.
    Step 4 - Once your have removed your wheel, use the no 13 spanner or socket to open the bolt while using the no 14 spanner to hold the nut.
    Step 5 - Once you have removed the two bolts which hold the caliper in place, use some force to remove/lift up the brake caliper.
    Step 6 - Once the caliper is been removed take out the old brake pads, they should just slide out. Put the caliper on the disc facing upwards, use the old brake pads to assist on pushing the caliper back.
    Step 7 - Use your water pump pliers or wheel jack spanner to push the caliper piston "completely" back.
    Step 8 - Use the Disc as a guide to slide on your new brake pads, once done place on the caliper and screw back both the no 13 bolts, do not over tighten.
    Repeat the same process on the other side.
    Step 9 - Once both sides are complete, ensure your wheels are put on correctly and wheel nuts tightened. " You can now close your Brake fluid cap" please do this!
    Step - 10 Before driving off, continuously press your brake paddle until the brake paddle becomes hard, Drive off slowly and within 500meters of slow driving your brakes should be perfect or even better. They may squeak abit at the start but it's totally normal.
