We lost due to having no defensive backup on the bench and we are in the exact same situation today with only kiwior and cedric match fit on the bench.
But suure, what we need is a striker... Even though we will have to play cedric in the crunch games since ben white has been playing through injury.. and even though we will have to play rice at cb if saliba gets injured again.

Getting dominated by west ham at home is a disgrace . Saka Martinelli Jesus have all been piss poor this season Zinchenko has cost us repeatedly this season . Raya has next to nothing to do and when he is called upon rarely saves anything . Only positive is our center back pairing and Declan rice . Honestly put Saliba , Gabriel and rice as our front three and we score more goals than we do now with the attackers we have . Disgusting performance

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. This season is gonna be peak if Lee Gunner is proven right and we win nothing.
He ain't prove shit. Man city and Liverpool are still teams to beat, he shouldn't act as though they are any pushovers. But of course we've made leaps and bounds of improvement over the last 1.5 years and it's unthinkable why we cannot push on and challenge for it when we have consistently shown in that period how we can push on to the top 2-3 spots in the league. Our team is not yet the finished product, and just about into the final phase of arteta's team based on the players that he have added across all positions. While i have said that,i don't mean it as any excuse why the team at its current state shouldn't be performing. We have blatantly underperformed in several games this season and we have to do better, both manager and team.

A new striker isn't going to change the fact that Martinelli and Saka are not scoring anywhere near as much as they should be. Why is it Jesus' fault that their form is bad? Jesus isn't in this team for his scoring, it's because he is an elite false 9. If your goalscorers are not scoring goals then it's their fault, not the guy who is providing them service.
What Arsenal need is a plan B, someone to replace Nketiah so that when the usual system isn't working they can bring on a target man/poacher who can finish chances from crosses etc. People who think Jesus needs to be replaced just don't understand football. Before Haaland came the Premier League was won THREE years in a row by a team that didn't use a goalscoring striker (Firmino/Jesus/Sterling - all false 9s) so this myth that you need a high-scoring striker to win the league is recency bias
