If dead Lucy hadn’t written that, this would have been the end of the series resulting in a time loop that lasted for the ends of time
But given that she wrote that and changed it back, she shouldn't have been able to write that message for her future self, so her future self would not have known and would have died of Ben and Lucy's antics, after writing a message warning her future self to stop Ben and Lucy....... Also, if the clock just popped in the victorian era and stood here ever since, who built it? Gotta love a cartoon that (intentionally, I know) use both the grandfather and the writer time paradox.
There wouldn't be a time loop because Time God would probably just kill them all again. Regardless it would be the end of the series because they'd be dead, unless they stopped Time God somehow.
@@origamifan5515 think of it less as a 2-dimensional loop and more a 3-dimensional spiral. yes they did go back to the "start" but the start is now different and if you look at it from natural chronology it would seem that the change always existed thus it should exist in the first place but there was indeed an initial version that they will never get to properly interact with... unless they revive Lucy

The promotion for this is really bad tbh. Unless you're already a tomska fan you wouldn't really know it exists. And episodes take really long to release, which is not a complaint from me because I understand animation takes time and money but not a lot of people do
