How can I blame you when it's me I can't forgive. The first time I heard it it gave me a lot of clarity in my own life. As most people do we blame situations and people for our own discretions. It was an awakening for me. I blamed one person for what I lost as a young boy. I was afraid to get close to anyone because I felt I was going to loose them as well. When I realized that I needed to forgive myself and not blame people or situations for the path I made. We all have gone through things that put is a different place or state of mind. Forgive yourself that is the only way to start the healing process.
I was bullied pretty hard by my older sibling as far back as I remember in childhood. All I remember wanting was to be friends and have a good relationship,. Well that never happened. It took me most my life to realize it wasn't me that wasn't good enough 😉🤘🏼
The line at 2:17 - *"He tries to please them all, this bitter man he is"* - really resonates with me. I do a lot for a lot of people who don’t seem to appreciate it. Whenever it gets to me though, I just think: "Without me, everyone who needs my help would be doomed." I love all three _Unforgivens,_ but I strongly identify as the one James dubs "The Unforgiven" in the first song. _The Unforgiven I_ will forever be my favorite Metallica song.

Idk wtf happened with part 3 was the best track on that album but still blew and here it was back when a new album from them to make up for the one prior anger inc? Was it garbage is wtf it was as was death magnetic but every single other albums of theirs nearly every damn track was amazing so I guess one can't really complain about them only having 2 shit albums of soooo many in their day and getting sober losing members were the death of this band as was most likely the life of the famed style that's ruining ruined everything that has ever been in the same position gotta wonder what it is that does that? St Anger sounds like it does because the band members were going through a HELL of a lot during it. Go and watch the documentary documentary and you'll understand why it sounds how it does. If you still dont? Then you simply haven't had that much anger before.
