Today we went to Brijuni National Parks, which is a set of islands and inlets off the coast of Istria. Brijuni NP is one of 8 eight national parks in Croatia, and on the main island, Veliki Brijun, there's a safari park, a dino park, the Byzantine Castrum and so much more! There's even a golf course on the island for any golf enthusiasts out there :)

What a wonderful video! After the little kittens have buckled their seat belts, the journey began. :) The perfect destination for kids, I think, the ostrich was my favourite animal. But this abondened bunker was really cool.😎 AActually all places were impressive and worth a journey! The kiddos were obviously pleased, surely a very good destination for the whole family. Enjoyed the vid!

Istra je oteta od Italije i vreme da se vrati pravom vlasniku . Tokom drugog svetskog rata, kao ni pre njega, Istra nije spadala u jugoslovenski okvir, a kamoli u hrvatski. Čak je ni Hitler posle kapitulacije Italije 9. septembra 1943. nije priključio državi svojega saveznika Ante Pavelića....... Italija je posle Drugog svetskog rata, bila primorana da, na ime ratne štete ustupi Jugoslaviji a NE HRVATSKOJ Istru, Zadar i otoke. Tako je Italija, za strahovito stradanje Srba (Italiji su tada prip isani i zločini hrvatske vojske, jer je NDH bila i njena tvorevina) potpisala s Jugoslavijom Ugovor o miru, u kojem je, doslovno, pisalo da „ustupa teritorije Jugoslaviji“ - ne Hrvatskoj ( „Službeni list FNRJ“, br. 74/47)
Pošto Jugoslavije više nema a hrvatska nije naslednik Jugoslavije . Istra i dalmacija treba da se vrate svojim vlasnicima.

Castrum meens fortress in latin and if its over 2k years old it was build by romans but probably later used by Byzantines(estern roman empire)

Man I was here 20 years ago. Its crazy how we Croats take for granted something this majestic- there is an Adriatic island full of african animals and the ex-dictators parrot still lives here. Wild.

That’s actually a great deal. On Catalina island in Calfornia a golf cart cost 75 USD an hour to tour the island which is 525 Kunas an hour! And trust me Brijuni is much better! Great deal!!!
