HAPPY NEW YEAR! Thought I should commemorate with posting a new vid after far too long ^^;. It's super hard for me to film during the day int he winter because my room has reaaally bad lighting. This is my first time filming during the night and maybe the vibes are not entirely bad,,,. It's perfect since nighttime is when I feel most creative anyways LOL

Do you have any tips for people looking to start penpalling?
Yes!! I think it's always good to start with someone you know, like an internet friend or a childhood friend you want to get in touch with again. But if you want to meet someone new, that's ok too!! I recommend starting with penpals from the same country. Shipping fees are cheaper and it also takes less time for your letters to reach each other. It's a good way to test out whether you think this would be a good hobby for you or not^^. When choosing people to be penpals, don't be afraid to be a little selective! So much of the snail mail process is the connection you have with the other person, so it is important to chose someone you think you'd vibe with. And lastly, please don't be convinced that penpalling is all about stationery, it's not!! The most important (and the only thing you need, really,) is the letter. Stationery is definitely something you can collect over time if you'd like to, but there's no 'threshold' of the amount of stationery you need in order to start penpalling. When I first started, I just had lined paper and a pen!

It's so cool to see a nighttime edition of pen-palling. I'm a biology major, so all of my ability to do pen pals is at night when I'm done for the day and need to rest my eyes. It's very relaxing for me!

Thank you for the helpful inspiring advice I’m new to pen paling never knew it could be a creative way to make a friend or get to know someone. I wanna start penpalling I just don’t know where to start, especially getting people’s addresses and being safe.
There’s a website made for kids but adults can use it but it’s real safe you have to fill out forms and if you’re suspicious they kick you off
