It is possible to have platonic or mentor type relationships between adults and teens. And I kinda got to the point of "if this identity is an 'option' for you, then you and I don't have the same identity". And I kinda got to the point of "if this identity is an 'option' for you, then you and I don't have the same identity". When you're in your 30s, you realize how truly strange it is for someone in that same age group to spend so much time talking to/texting with minors, let alone minors that are the opposite sex and in no way blood/marriage-related to themselves. On my 18th bday i went to a kat de luna (lol throwback) concert and was pulled up on stage and told her it was my 18th bday and she let me dance on stage for the next song, i backed it up on one of her dancers and he respectfully scooched all the way away from me. At first i was offended but then i thought, duh. He hasnt seen ny id. He doesnt really know how old i am. And this was shortly after akon got in trouble for dancing with that 15 yr old.
I literally had to fast forward the drake part of the video. It was THAT UNCOMFORTABLE.
