So true. A biblical man with Derek Prince's character is hard to find. I was at a bible college for 6 years. But I struggled to get simple biblical knowledge. So one day I came across Derek Prince and whoa. I found common ground. Easy and understandable.

DP as you call him also says in one of his messages that Jesus Joshua yeshua yehoshua are all mere words and we don't need to burden ourselves trying to find the perfect words to please God. And also mentioned in Numbers 24:9, some 800 hundred years later after the death of Abraham, when that greedy man named Balaam voiced God's promise in the wilderness.
More explicitly, Jeremiah in 610 b.c. had it recorded in verse 4:2, despite the Babylonian seize.
1900 centuries ago unto now, Peter addressed the crowd at the gate of Beautiful in Acts 3:25.

If you actually read your Bible. You can see here. That the rich man even followed all of the ten commandments, but he lacked FAITH. To go through with the work. Even though, in the eyes of man. He might've seemed like he had a good "character". Its not about looking good to people. It's about being justified in the eyes of God. Being justified by works through FAITH.

part. Faith can be fleeting if it doesn't
hold up against the wind, let alone a storm a hour away.
God test ones faith in fiery conditions just to see if there's any value or character for
the long haul. It might be a matter of ones interpretation.

You either have faith in Jesus or you don't. It's not a character issue. I'm sure the thief on the cross seemed to have a poor character, but he's still saved. Yes, God works on our character over time.
The point was. There's a lot of false preachers and teachers who seem to have "good characters", but aren't saved and lead many astray.
Help: if you have to have faith without seeing then couldn't you just be fooling yourself that God exists because religious teachers say you just have to have faith without seeing?
