I was crying so hard at that scene with Mantis cause she's so sweet and innocent and she was SO afraid that if Quill knew she was also Ego's daughter, he would just see their horrible father, the she would remind him of the thing that killed his mother. She was terrified of telling him the truth thinking thats all he would be able to see in her. The relief of realizing it wasnt true and how joyful Quill is to have a real sister, Mantis deserved that so much.

The pain they have been through, the people they've loved and lost, the struggles of just existing. Marvel is able to express all of this through their amazing stories told in movies.
