Mostly because if I had players doing war cries at my table, I would quickly be banned from playing D&D.

I can imagine an entire 20th level campaign built around the "Destroy universe" spell.
Imagine if the side effect of the spell was to send a telepathic signal detectable by every living being in the universe that lets them know that the end of the world is coming as soon as the ritual is started.
Cities burn, people panic, riots in the streets, various apocalypse cults appear, deities and demigods scramble around trying to figure out who the fuck is deleting reality and why, and the players have a strict 1 month time limit to find whoever is casting it and stop him.

    Casting time: 1 bonus action
You create a tarrassque. It lasts 1 minute, and is hostile towards every creature, including itself. If you are a certified therapist you may choose to use you’re action to give the Terrassque therapy, in which case it will no longer be hostile towards itself. You may cast the spell using a spell slot to increase the duration of the terrrask’s existence before inevitable(without a wish spell) oblivion. When cast using a 1st or higher level spell slot, roll a d8. For every spell level, one extra minute is added to the tarreske’s existence before it’s painful end. A wall of water springs into existence at a point you choose within range. You can make the wall up to 300 feet long, 300 feet high, and 50 feet thick. The wall lasts for the duration.
When the wall appears, each creature within its area must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 6d10 bludgeoning damage, or half as much damage on a successful save.
At the start of each of your turns after the wall appears, the wall, along with any creatures in it, moves 50 feet away from you. Any Huge or smaller creature inside the wall or whose space the wall enters when it moves must succeed on a Strength saving throw or take 5d10 bludgeoning damage. A creature can take this damage only once per round. At the end of the turn, the wall's height is reduced by 50 feet, and the damage creatures take from the spell on subsequent rounds is reduced by 1d10. When the wall reaches 0 feet in height, the spell ends.
A creature caught in the wall can move by swimming. Because of the force of the wave, though, the creature must make a successful Strength (Athletics) check against your spell save DC in order to move at all. If it fails the check, it can't move. A creature that moves out of the area falls to the ground.

My original comment was on the actual effectiveness of a true damage source in terms of hurting enemies and that you usually do full damage with no actual Armor, reducing the total damage. However you can easily make it where True Damage bypasses and immunity or resistances you would have to roll for

That Destroy universe could make an *AMAZING* campaign as it reminds me of Majora’s mask of where link has 3 days, but make that 28 days and the atmosphere reflects that by having every npc becoming hopeless of their fate, Players are actually gonna have to consider on how to spend their time, since travelling on the over-world can take DAYS to get somewhere, putting allot of pressure on the players and making them think ahead on what to do in this time limit.

You hear rumors that a powerful archmage was found dead in his tower, throughout the campaign leaving breadcrumbs that powerful spellcasters are being killed in both silent and in some cases in very public ways, until someone figures out that every being who could cast wish was killed and the ritual has started.

Aaru's destroy universe reminds me of a letter I read in an old issue (from the early 80s) of Dragon magazine in which someone had claimed to have cast a Nuke spell and killed everyone else, and asked fellow readers of the magazine to send in their characters' sheets so he could properly calculate how much XP he'd gained from it.
A later issue printed a follow-up letter from somebody else stating that they were immune to the effects because "I AM THE DUNGEON MASTER!"
