Great shot kid was the rare in the Tatooine. They had some “tech” cards in there to help fix cards from the original trilogy as well as episode one stuff. Was probably a 80:20 mix of episode one and old school stuff. Thanks for sharing!
This is a special video for me. I have a TON of Star Wars TCG. Collected them and have binders of this stuff. Time to bust open the box they are in to relive this set. I have the Premiere set.
Good luck pulling rares. Popping packs is fun, but the pull rates for main characters in the Decipher CCG are notoriously microscopic. I have boxes full of commons from the '90s to show for it. My friends and I played this to death in the late '90s for about 5 years. We got so degenerate with it that we played 1000+ card decks in games that would last all day and take up a whole ping pong table. I still have all of mine (save a few hundred I gave to my oldest son), though I did trade a handful of doubles for video games with a friend. I stopped after Death Star II, though. Mixing episode 1 with the classic trilogy made no sense to me, plus I hated those prequels.
20:27 You can tell which set a card is from by looking at the set icon. It's displayed on the right side of the card below the destiny number. For Jabba's Palace, the icon is a closeup on Jabba's eye. A New Hope is crossed sabers. Premiere doesn't have a set icon. Not 100% sure what the Tatooine set icon is supposed to be; I think it's a closeup on a podracer.
I'm also a big fan of the cantina dudes. My favorite thing to do is get on Star Wars Galaxies and run around the Mos Eisley cantina. =) I've never played this game but always wanted to give it a try. I have the starter set somewhere around here.
I played SWG, I was on Chilastra. I started the game at launch, and I’ll never forget going into a cantina on Corellia and the music that was playing, and just running around. One of the most nostalgic times of my life.

Upon closer inspection, it seems like the Tatooine set icon is supposed to be a front view of Sebulba's Podracer.
