Well this is an amazing feature I didn’t know existed (although I haven’t read the manual so shame on me but….I bought the minilogue xd for its “knob per function” design) and it’s awesome for me who knows what the modes and scales sound like but don’t have the theory or playing knowledge just to make do on a chromatic keyboard. So many ideas now!!!
01:31 that toy is just fun, Korg does digital weird, Ya get it or you don’t. It is it’s own and it’s damn good at what it does good. 😂 it’s a minimalized Bulchla and worth the price.
I've honestly never understood this. Like, it would only make it harder for me to figure out what keys to press. Maybe someone could explain how this makes it easier to make music? As for transpose, you can also hit shift+play, hold for a second if you want to not have to hold a key down, and then it will trigger in the key of whatever key you press.

Love the Volca Modular.
Thanks I'm still learning my.minilogue xd
Can you change the individual note pitches to create Middle Eastern modes - with quarter tone tuning values?
Holy geez. This is a gam changer for me.

Can I transpose an entire sequence from gmin to emin
The progression reminded me of tame impala, but I don't rember the song (from Currents for sure)
Oh really? That’s awesome. It might be because he uses a lot of 7ths like me ✌️
😅 thanks
🎉
Too bad you cannot edit each of the key with its own temperament on the fly. You have to go through editor for that and/or pre-program it vis Scala…
Is this a custom patch you made?
Yes! 🙌
this literally explains why some patches sound horrible in the sense of the tuning.
