Great info! In my recent interactions at my opticians, their focus was on selling more expensive/lower distortion advanced lenses. No one told me about the effect of frame size!
Wish I had saw this a week ago. I this should be mentioned to someone getting their first pair
Nice info
thankyou fr valuable info☺️
I love your glasses. They suit you. May I ask which brand?
Hey Miho! They are by Anglo American Optical - you can view them here: www.thespectaclefactory.com/product/anglo-american-optical-fitz/ mine is the OP24 colours
I now understand thank you very much
Glad to help
I thought you did a video where round glasses were promoted to deal with high prescription but perhaps that’s high without being progressive. So would an aviator be best for -7 progressives?
Made you 100 like and im gettin progresívne glasses
Please make a video to quantify all this (approximately, obviously). Impact of ADD value (+1.00 vs +2.00,,etc.) and of lens size (30mm vs 35mm, etc) on field of vision. And compare on the field of vision difference by going from standard to premium progressive lenses.
I think there are too many variables involved. You need to speak to an expert optician about your specific case - we'd love to help with a Virtual Consultation
Makes sense! I think allot of glasses should have large frames because it actually is like wearing Ski goggles all day long. Narrow Field of View
what about digital progressive instead of traditional progressive
What is considered to be a larger frame size? 54 - 55mm?
Cool info larger glass less distortion
Basically! At least in terms of the vertical size
Do you mean because you can have a longer corridor if you have a larger frame?
Not with my prescription 😂HAPPY NEW YEAR
I mene 500
Why do I feel Short after putting on my progressive lens for the first time? I see The streets closer up
Hi. What size glasses would you suggest? I don’t care for the transition between farsightedness and nearsightedness it in my current glasses. Thank you
Probably best to book a style and vision consultation with me!
@@thespectaclefactoryhow do you set that up?
Do they actually have the lines on the glasses ? Or is that for example purposes only 😊
Yeah, just during the manufacturing process. They are removed at the end.
@@thespectaclefactory cheers 👍
Actually - as someone who has worn progressives for a long time - I have found the larger the lense - the larger the distorsion!!!! What he doesn't tell you is the lenses are made so you are looking thru on hourglass - and everything outside the hourglass is distorted. This makes it so you have NO PERIPHERAL VISION! Unsafe if you are driving. Progressives have been around for a real long time, you think they would fix this. And also keep in mind - the larger the frames the heavier the lenses (even the thinest lense). Makes it very uncomfortable for people who have very strong prescriptions.
I believe that it's more for having more intermediate zone that opticians recommend tall lenses for progressive lenses.
Wow a combination of dress
