The whole vibe of this city is really special! No matter where you wanna go out or in which way you prefer to go out, Barcelona has something to offer for everyone and I just love it!!

no it doesnt. i lived there for 3 years. You see people sitting at cafes doing NOTHING. and when its cold, they will do the same. there is some culture there, some museums and theaters but u need spanish to enjoy all that. So as a tourist or traveller you can go nightclub or sit like this on a chair. Its beautiful somewhat on the first sea line, but after that is narrow streets or then residential area nothing special. Its a city full of tourists which gives it a vibe that things are buzzing. but they arent really unless u are spanish w cool friends doing cool things, like fashion or crypto. otherwise u drinking cerveza and riding your skateboard and doing nothing.
its overrated , especially for living unless u are spanish with a nice flat and cool friends and u then have your pick of the tourist girls

as a US citizen watching this almost feels alien. I've never seen this many people out at night all acting this chill. Really hope this quality of life continues for Barcelona and that no one spoils it with crime and obnoxious behavior.

Went to Denmark, Germany, Italy and Spain in 2019. Barcelona was my favorite city from every other city I toured. Would live there in a heart beat!
Barcelona is great, one of the best cities for sure, but you should have gone to Sevilla and Granada (the bad thing about those 2 is they are very hot and if you got to work the economy is not so good). Bad things about Barcelona is there is to much shity guys from north africa and it's to close to France so there is plenty of frenches everywhere so as a french i kind of feel like i'm in France, i didn't had that feeling in Madrid or in any other city in Spain even in San Sebastian which is also at the french border.

I've lived in Spain for 14 years, 6 months of which I spent living and working in Barca, at the London Bar to be precise. It's an incredible place, you see something new every day. It has such a unique vibe about it. The living is expensive, it's very common to share apartments or to rent rooms as you can expect to pay €1000 a month for something reasonable near the city centre. I've been many places in the world and I'd say Barcelona is up there as the best 👌🏼
I have to ask. Are you American? I live in America and I want to move to Spain or one of the countries in the eu after I graduate college. If you don’t mind, can you tell me what the process was like to get a citizenship or how to be able to move there?

I went to Barcelona in October for just weekend and probably the best thing I did in 2022. Great ppl great nightlife and the communication traffic was impressive how easy it was. Must of all so clean no Cigarette or trash thrown.
