My favourite course at the resort. Been lucky enough walk trails 5 rounds now and love it more every time. TC is the perfect choice to follow along with
Did my first Bandon Trip last year and it was my least favorite, but we played it on a very warm afternoon of 36 and my game was off. I'd love to get a few more cracks at it and can see how it could grow on you as you play it more and the novelty of the ocean courses fade.
Course conditions look like something out of a ‘Strapped’ episode. C-suite must have felt like fish out of water.
I wonder what time of year this was filled. It certainly was not up to the Bandon standard.
@@conradwehrley7967 Looks like early spring to me. I know they sit courses for at least a week at a time over the winter in some kind of rotation, but this looks rougher than usual for spring. But I'd still gladly pay to play!
@@MikeGolfsOregon just wild to see the tee boxes and greens beaten up pretty good. It’s exciting they opened the new par 3 course! I’m sure it’s fantastic.
@@conradwehrley7967 I was there 2 weeks ago. July 10-15. Courses are poorly maintained. Greens and tee boxes are crap. Fairways are suspect in areas. They get too much play and aren't willing to shut down anything to do the necessary work. Trails and Pacific are my favorite, but views and terrain can only distract you from course conditions for so long. It's very evident that Bandon is a money grab now and the condition of the courses is secondary.
Love playing there but the 295 greens fee to play recently punched greens and beat up tee boxes is rough!

As someone just coming out the other side of the chipping yips, TC putting from EVERYWHERE is very relatable.

Worked in Bandon for 6 months a couple years back.. trails kicked me in the teeth more times than I’d like to admit

My course in sydney flooded twice this year, both times under 10 metres of floodwaters. It is in better condition than this course.
