The “Shooting Star” 2-Color System
Our unique design allows the more experienced baits makers to produce one or two color baits. Suitable to use with all types of “shot” you are able to produce higher volumes of baits with this extremely fast and efficient injection system.
The Shooting Star system uses two 12qt stainless steel cookpots bought to temperature and kept hot by a 2000 watt heater. Quick and easy to connect, injector ports on each pot allows colors to be drawn individually, whilst the twin center port allows you to draw from both pots for laminated colors. Wastage is kept to a minimum by injecting any unused material back in to the pots before returning the double barrel injector to a heated “pocket” to keep it hot between uses.

I understand that you have to pre-cook the plastic before it’s put in the heated pots that are part of the shooing star. Is that correct? If so, what’s the recommended process for doing that?

Hello. Nice info. Thanks. Can I ask a question? I have a very simple 1 mold 1 injector beginner set up. Why do my Senkos come out hollow at the top most times? What am I doing wrong?

Hold pressure. You are releasing too soon and the worms arent filling up with the plastic

good morning how many degrees to melt or plastisol and not burn I'm having difficulties ???

That depends on your brand, but broadly speaking you need to heat to 350"F to put it through the "gel" stage. Start lower and add 10 degrees at a time
