This is a GREAT ALBUM, I honestly wish it had the same success as Sour because I prefer it.
i honestly can see y u prefer it but in general sours production is just more for the radio i think
Same I still listen to it now since it dropped and there are no skips and I love the deluxe songs for it ❤️❤️
One thing a I haven't seen people talk about is the layout of the album. The first two track are more about relationship with other people Email i can't send is very obviously about her dad, but I think vicious is about fake fans during all the drama about driver license. But after that the track 3-8 is getting over a relationship that was really back and forth and messy in general. Then what I notice on the tour when Sabrina introduce the song she says something on the lines like "you meet someone and you just forget about your ex" then the following songs are about new relationship. More songs about being in a relationship. Then finally the last track decode is about that closure from the previous relationship.

I think you're gonna love her singular albums since your fav is Nonsense, they were a lot more carefree (she even said when she wrote "sue me" she was at her happiest), and it has more of the r&b sound that she tapped into only once on eics (with nonsense), so i recommend giving it a shot!

The way I see "you used a fork once turns out they're everywhere" is as something THAT small becomes a constant reminder of someone, you just manage to find them everywhere. Like she did that

I think what she meant by the fork lyric is that everything reminds her of her ex, even something as simple as a fork. Forks are everywhere, thus she remembers her ex all the time, hence the "i got ways to find you everywhere" line.

i think my top songs from this album are already over and skinny dipping i love them sm!! i remember listening to her first album in middle school a lot, then i took a little break and got into her music just last year but now im definitely excited for her future music!

I love skinny dipping, I make fun of the spoken word part myself but I still genuinely like the song and message behind it
yeah the chorus is pretty good but the talking just pulls me out of it lol
I ADOOORE this album, it really grew on me. I saw Sabrina live and she was really fantastic! My favorite song of the album is Tornado Warnings!
And you should listen to the deluxe tracks, they are really really good!

Jason, not sure if a lot of people have commented this, but have you considered checking out more Ed Sheeran? Yes he does have some basic boring songs (I love even those, but then again I am capable of enjoying shake it off lmao) but he does have 80% incredible songs, great topics, you will laugh and cry. Check out mainly Plus, Multiply, Divide, and Equals, if you like them there is an even bigger rabbit hole than any other artist you have checked out!
If you want timing on your side, his final album of the math symbols, subtract, comes out at the start of May, maybe you can do it like you did Taylor when Midnights came.
