    3:00 does anyone realize how hard this part is?? He is going through so many chord shapes, very quickly, going up and down the neck, and nailing every note with precision. Absolutely insane

      Pizzicato means something different on guitar. It means muted, like by putting the palm on the strings near the bridge. Like he's doing in the part that would normally be pizz on the violin.

      I did as a kid, but gave up after grade 1 piano, the translation time became to frustrating. Everything by ear since then. I understand what you are suggesting. I doubt somebody this technical, who has probably practiced this piece for years, would avoid being 100% perfect on tempo as well and escape with an "interpretation" avoidance plan

    I've seen many versions of this done on many instruments . Yo Yo Ma ect. I could go into how inspired and flawless this performance was or how this is a violin peice which makes it hard to cover or how great the tone is a million different ways but right now I'm just like "dude, that was so metal!"

      I would be insulted if I had practiced for hours on end to be able to play this and then somebody just blames it on talent. I'm sure talent counts for something, but I would still say that it accounts for only ten percent at best in a performance like this one.

    Unbelievable PERFECT ! Clear sound and extremely good intonation ....(Pacanini is already very chalenging on the violin)...playing Pacanini on the guitar is 100x more difficult....

      @@thetecmachine2012 You have to play on right place on the fretboard : when you place your finger on a "case" (french word) you are between two frets, if your finger is too high (or away from the rosette) the string will vibrate on the fret and sound really bad it will curl (="friser" in french). The placement of your fingers impacts the sound, so basically your aren't out of tune but you sound awful. Plus, there are 3 ways to do a vibrato you can either move the neck of the guitar which is a bad idea, move the string with your finger horizontally (along the neck) which is what he does in the video, and you can move your string with your finger vertically which makes the string fastly sound sharp. The hardest technique in those three is the 2nd one, the one he uses in this video so again "ha can't be out of tune" but he uses an hard technique to avoid using vibrato that makes the string sound sharp

      LosJuegosDeCoqui nadie me entiende lo que quise decir . Soy músico ( no de la gran calidad de este maestro) y trabajo de músico . Pero cuando me formaba como músico y toma mis primeras lecciones tenía que trabajar de otra cosa . A eso me refiero . Osea soy músico y trabajo de esto en la actualidad ... Me entendés ahora?
