I guess is a must to be weirded out the first time you watch or listen to Tune-Yards, then you dig a little deeper and you see that they are actually fantastic and end up wishing for more of their weirdness.
This doesn't even feel weird for them. Kind of reminded me of US Girls this time around.

I have been listening to this song all weekend. I watched it again and just started sobbing at the crescendo. This is such a beautiful song; one that my soul needed to stumble upon at just the right time.

Tune Yards are so original in their unique sound,and warrent repeated listening and I love Merrill's voice and how she uses it in her songs,their new album "Sketchy" might be my faviurite album of this year so far.
This performance is so so good, haunting, raw and desperate yet hopeful.

Been listening to this every few hours all day, heard them on Satellite radio, first a song "hold yourself" that was, ehh, good, but this one is right up my alley. As for this lady being a songwriter, you have cast a spell, and I am hypnotized, and you have won the battle most of us would be happy to win, just to hypnotize a few people for a short time in 2021..
