The STRANGEST CHORD PROGRESSION I know: The "Omnibus"

    There are plenty of strange chord progressions on the piano, but this one is especially strange and beautiful! It's sometimes called the "Omnibus" progression, and every single piano chord in this progression comes from chromatic motion. A great piano trick!

    Have a listen to "The Dudley Moore trio with Jimmy Witherspoon BBC 1971" on here. actually recorded in 1965, the first track "Baubles, Bangles & Beads" using something very similar in the intro.
