Illegal vendors did the same at the Santa Monica Pier and the surrounding area. They'd leave huge messes by dumping their grease and garbage on the ground for city crews to clean up. No matter how many times they were instructed to leave they kept coming back. Many interactions between the illegals and the cops were captured on video and their attitudes of defiance, contempt, and entitlement were on full display. Santa Monica had to fence off all but one entrance to the pier and hire private security to guard the remaining entrance but that didn't stop them because the guards weren't allowed to physically prevent them from entering. So, the city had to create a special task force which consisted of police, firemen, code enforcement, and county health inspectors to routinely patrol the area. After a couple of months of citations, seizures, and even towing away a couple of the vendors' trucks, the illegal vendors finally gave up and left. However, the cost of this effort was in the millions.

I will stop going to any business that doesn't support the sidewalk dog. Those are the most exceptional glizzies imaginable. I am willing to fight for this cause until I die. I stand with street hotdogs!!!!!!
