This year i lambed on pasture, had few abandoned lambs. Becous i have romanov sheep,and they have all triplets or quads. Ussualy first lamb walks away while there is still labor for next 2 and never accepted then... if i culled them i would lose half of flock, but sold them to be bottled

I've never seen a new lamb wander away from the mom just after birth. With the size of paddocks we use though they wouldn't get far if they did.
25 million sheep in NZ and all are lambed on pasture.

It's a shepherd crook. You can catch them by their ankle with it.
