  • The Generatorum Hub is the last video from Kill Team: Nightmare which Games Workshop very kindly sent me an early copy to build up and paint and I love this piece of terrain. It's weird to love a piece of terrain but I really really do. It's awesome! It's also massive. Like it's very very big!

You are a braver man than I for applying citadel washes over this massive terrain piece.

I wish I had your aptitude for contrast paint application over wide expanses. Looks top banana.

Might try this … could use a nice simple piece to display a few minis on for pics :)

Don't get me wrong, I think this is a great piece of terrain and your tutorial on painting it was phenomenal. But does anyone else feel like this being the ONLY terrain piece in the killteam release is absolutely the most minimal effort GW could make for terrain? Every KT box till now has had relatively cool terrain kits, some of them downright amazing, but this is disappointing.

have to agree. a really nice piece but if this is your first kill team box this simply wouldn't cut it. Compare this to really any other KT box and it comes up very short. This very terrain split up in 3 or four parts would really be better or just some fairly diminiutive additions to go along with this.

This season is similar to the last, but with the board terrain separate. While I like the 5 smaller ones from Salvation a bit more. This large one and the 2 medium ones from Terminator for the next box have their place making the narrative missions feel different.

I think it's definitely low effort piece for a kill team box. But that said i was actually pretty keen to get my hands on it anyway. This season could have done with a separate terrain box the same as last season I feel

I've got some unpainted STC Ryza ruins wall sections which look to be compatible to this terrain piece.
Since this one is so huge, I may take a hacksaw to it and combine it with the Ryza ruins bits to make a few more-manageable chunks of terrain (mainly intended for 40k, but I'm sure they'll hold up fine for KT, too).

This man is mad, don't spend citadel money on this huge terrain piece, it's gonna cost you. Also, if you got an airbrush, just paint the whole thing metal, and then go in for the details.
