Congratulations on your crib . I’ve been sending other RCF / GSF drivers in Austin to your face book page met one this weekend sold some dude my living room set and he showed up in a White GSF haha . Anyway hope there are some car meets soon , I haven’t had a chance to attend one as I’ve been super busy whenever there have been any unfortunately .If anything I’m subscribed so I’ll just catch stuff on here for now .
On a side note what do you think of the carbon fiber hoods from Seibon for the RCF ? My friend just weighed one compared to the factory hood and they are .5 of a LB difference in weight so it’s basically just for looks I want one but I’m at a cross roads now . People always want to make more power but forget that shedding weight helps too . The only thing i can think of is some super light weight wheels if the hood is basically the same weight as factory . Titanium exhaust is way to expensive plus I have a decent full exhaust and the headers don’t weigh that much less either . Suggestions?

I have never been a fan of Seibon. Each platform I have seen them on suffer from quality and fitment issues. They're definitely only cosmetic with the CF overlay, but honestly, what isn't nowadays? Varis makes a lightweight CF hood, but it is a pretty penny. www.clublexus.com/forums/cl-vendor-products-for-rc-f/807018-varis-lightweight-carbon-fiber-hood-for-rcf.html Opting for the CF hood vent only as an accent.
As far as weight distribution, rotational mass of lightweight wheels, and 2 pc rotors should significantly improve performance. Additionally, smaller battery, gutting the interior, and swapping the seats. As drastic as you want to get, but really a balance of what you are looking to do/sacrifice.
BWI to ATX-F I figured wheels but don’t really want to gut my RCF like some people just to beat some mustangs and Camaros I got the RCF for one of the reasons that the interior is awesome haha . Then when I’m on club Lexus and reddit people are starting to trash talk the SC from RR as of lately saying it’s not worth it . Even though I have no problem with them at RR nor do I feed into the petty stuff online I don’t have the money to get a SC anyway lol . Wheels are definitely great when you can find some nice looking light weight ones but for instance the forged HREs are hella expensive too . I heard Rays are good for weight loss but aren’t nice looking from what I’ve seen . I don’t know just looking for different opinions in the F community.
irob rf yep, definitely a pay to play platform. I don’t mind the weight personally. I typically enjoy the car what it is factory, then mod appropriately.
I’ll probably go with the street kit in the future, but enjoying the car as is performance wise for now.

Would you be able to give the length of the bottom of the front pairs? Like how much they cover, because I need to cover up my damaged wheel well lining that I had to cut a tad bit, in order to fit my aftermarket side skirts. 3:14 is the best frame I could find.
Good job my man! I was surprised to see those Texas tags. I thought you were from the DMV. Big ups getting that two car garage, I'm trying to get a three or over sized garage, we do need our space! Was that double sided 3M tape? Were you able to use that to help close that gap? Once that tape sets, you need King Kong grease to get it off again.

Thanks. They were “CF500” but they stopped producing them. Went with Lexon
what do you call that white piece above the rear carbon guard that looks like a mud guard too?
It’s an OEM fender attachment to keep the wheel within the wheelwell for American safety compliance.
Time to get that LTC
What brand and size are your wheel spacers? Cost? Any issues at with braking/handling?
