I remember more than 10 years ago I‘ve seen Taake from Norway live near Osnabrück and I bought this pure Album of Ad Hominem there. I can‘t forget this masterpiece, doesnt matter which political background it has. It’s pure BM! 💪
Some of that reminds me of early Immortal. I dig the genuine feeling of anger that's going on throughout this. That kick is just about perfect. Not too heavy for this type of mix but thundering and punchy, nonetheless. The riffs are malevolent and delicious, the bassline has a good tone and is just loud enough, the drumming and variety of things going on in a given song really keeps you engaged, without it feeling disorganized. Great structure, texture and attitude. Just really mean, really satisfying stuff! \m/
The only part of your comment i do not agree with you is about the resemblance to Immortal. I don't think Immortal ever had such aggressive songs like thege guys and I'd say at most of Immortal's songs are in slower tempos. My opinion of course... Anyway, these guys are fucking brilliant, αmazing riffs, the vocals are out of this world! Not even one of their albums dissapoints, they are always getting better and better!
@@pittsop8293 I suppose I should have specified and said that there were a few bits that reminded me of stuff off the Pure Holocaust album but now that I think about it, you could probably draw those parallels with MOST black metal albums. lol Nonetheless, yeah, there's nothing NOT to love about this band. I have a hard-on for SkEtChY BlAcK mEtAl bands, as long as they tickle my fancy the ways these guys do. I MUST HAVE MOARRRRR! \m/
