Thank you so much for the footage of the tunnel. I traveled to Alaska in 1999 and took the Alaska Railroad from Anchorage to Whittier. The tunnel project was underway then to allow vehicles to reach Whittier. Prior to that, vehicles could only get to Whittier aboard flatbed cars on the train. Other transportation options included boat or seaplane. Your trip brings back memories. Enjoy your journey and happy birthday to Isabella.

There’s a one lane tunnel just north of the Golden Gate Bridge with a bike lane on either side of traffic lane the length is short but it’s a bit claustrophobic at times.
