      Plushie Claire you’d be surprised with the amount of people who think that the franchise is dead just because of one average game.

    • @BatarianBob
      @BatarianBob Před 6 lety +8

      Beatriz Costa It's not dead because of one "average" (to be generous) game, it's dead because of three PR nightmares, a publisher that's getting more and more disinterested in single player story driven games, *and* one "average" game.

    • @pharohrosado5988

      @sartickus Před 6 lety +5

      Can you just fucking stop ? You're the one turning the knife in the wound, there is no mass effect project, no DLC planned, nothing. So yes, Mass effect is dead right now, stop being a fucking child and face the end of a beloved serie like a fucking adult. No, what Sakuya is saying isn't right, but what you're saying isn't either, Anthem replaced Mass Effect in term of project, but there was no Mass Effect planned to cancel to begin with.

    I absolutely adore Mass Effect. I only wish I could experience playing the original trilogy for the first time all over again. You created something unique and special to so many people, and I for one would like to thank you for that.
    I didn't enjoy Andromeda, but no games company is perfect - and it is important that you tried to get things right. I can't wait to see where the series is headed next, and meet my new space besties ;)
    Thanks for the awesome memories, and for my personal motto: "what would [paragon] Shepard do?" ;)

    • @GayLPer
      @GayLPer Před 6 lety +8

      As someone who also likes Andromeda, Plushie Claire needs to chill out.
      People are entitled to dislike things or like things at their whim and nobody should judge them for it.
      Sadly, there's also a lot of people like Plushie Claire, but inverted - hating on anyone who DOES like the games.
      Glad you're not one of them, though. That's refreshing.

    • @dearone1
      @dearone1 Před 6 lety +5

      Magus Silveresti There were things I liked about Andromeda, and things I didn't like. To me, it just didn't feel up to scratch compared to the original trilogy - though that is an extremely high bar. Despite this, I have boundless faith in Bioware; I adore ME and Dragon Age. They have created a fan for life.
      I'm glad other people enjoyed it though! It just wasn't for me :)

    • @GayLPer
      @GayLPer Před 6 lety +4

      Right! That's fine. Everything's gonna have things they do or don't like and that will change from person to person. One person's trash is another person's treasure and vice versa. The world would be a happier place if we could just accept that, instead of trying to feel superior to other people because we hold a different opinion.

    • @AspyreN7
      @AspyreN7 Před 6 lety +6

      Everyone is so stuck on the endings when the beginning is rife with potential like first contact war and learning more about a young Jack Harper or even a younger Saren, maybe getting the chance to be among the first who discovered the citadel and the challenges that came with it, or possibly being among the pioneers who discovered and uplifted all the other space faring races in the series there’s so much there that doesn’t even need to come close to the endings

    • @MatthewPaul92
      @MatthewPaul92 Před 6 lety +4

      "A conclusion" in that they abruptly ended it. I didn't care whether the ending was happy or not, but I did want one, not just for them to abandon it and after multiple failed attempts to draw it out. The awful follow up game didn't help either. • @kezealaji
    @kezealaji Před 6 lety +2

    This game... this series... this legacy... is one like no other. I grew up playing Mass Effect 1-3 since I was a kid about to start high school, and it gave me a sense of surrealism like nothing ever had. Everything about the universe, from my Commander Shepard, to all the amazing characters and locations, it all gave me a love and passion that I still hold dear to me. When Andromeda came out, I not only preordered, but waited until the store opened so I could get inside and be the first one to get it. And while I truly enjoyed what Andromeda was, I know it was far from perfect and not what the original trilogy perfected. But the fact that this franchise means so much to so many people should tell EA and Bioware how much we all care about it, and what we're willing to do to keep it going. Whether it's a remastered trilogy on next-gen, or a sequel to Andromeda, I will continue to support this series until my last breath. And thank you for everyone who believed in something beyond themselves, and towards the greatness humanity will achieve

I was crying when remembering all the things I did in Mass Effect; romancing tali, saving wrex, the new Normandy, Mordin's death, everything. I thank you Bioware from my heart for making a awesome beautiful game. And I hope to see another Mass effect theme in the future. It's been an amazing ride full of love, happiness, anger, sadness, and joy. This is Commander Sirius Shepard, and this goes to all other Shepard's, and Ryder's in the world. For we are all a family. One of the best stories told in video games. Every time I hear that music piece at the start of video it always hits me hard in a world full of despair, Shepard was a beacon of hope, not only in the video game, but for some people in real life as well. Beautiful game, and I didn' t care about the "bad" ending of the 3rd game at all, ending did not matter to me. It was the journey, and journey was magnificent. It's everything I wanted in a game, intense story, action, memorable characters(even the side characters), and most of all, consistency. Most trilogies lose track of their original motive. I'm glad that the ME trilogy didn't.

No company would ignore the Avalanche of feedback it would be irresponsible. I actually really enjoyed the game. The depth of the characters and world's was very much Mass Effect. And the complexity of the initiative brought a different type of urgency. I think it's too bad that people whined and complained so much over its imperfections that now, we risk losing it altogether.

    The next Mass Effect game I buy will be from CDPR, Obsidian or Larian studios. Might as well sell the franchise EA. It's worth 10 cents in your possession and you won't even make a single player Star Wars game which would sell 3 times more. Microsoft needs a RPG. Sell it to them. At least they could do a better job outsourcing the game to a studio that still has talent and that wasn't taken over by intersectional feminist cult members who only hired other cult members. People like Sam Maggs were hired with zero experience in fiction or games over QUALIFIED MINORITIES, which makes you all hypocrites. Bioware has ZERO diversity. It's a studio with a bunch of clones with no unique points of view, no argument or debate who live in a bubble. The studio is dead and the feminists will leave the dead husk of this studio and move onto another studio to ruin. Intersectional feminism can't create. It can only destroy. See Marvel Comics as another example.

    Bioware makes a Ten Years of Mass Effect video and doesn't include the lead writer from ME 1 and 2 Drew Karpyshyn, which were the only games people liked a lot. Instead they pass off half of the people who were only heavily involved in ME 3 or the failed ME:A as "leads" and include a bunch of sycophant fanboys like Biofan in the video, who get flown out on vacations with EA paying for them so that they can shill their products. This video is like making a Star Wars tribute and giving George Lucas no credit and including some bloggers in it that get gift bags from Disney. Thanks for proving you have no clue Bioware. Mass Effect is truly dead. Don't even bother doing a remaster. PC Gamers already fixed the ending and have textures better than some of the laughable things seen in ME:A.
