    I can't say thank you enough for making this tutorial. I have been trying, struggling with cutting my daughters pillowcases and clothing to make memorial things. Blankets, etc. Still not sure what to make with them. Now have lots of my husband's things as well and don't know what I should make with them. But my adult sons and Inlaws would love something special. Just don't want to do a teddy bear and haven't seen anything else that I think will be unique. Will most likely crochet lap blankets or something but until watching your video haven't been able to cut anything. Your tutorial was so perfect. Slow enough, clearly explained and made perfect sense. Thank you so very much. I'm looking forward to creating something special and looking at your other videos. ❤

    So ingenious!!! Love the way it turned out so you don't have to "join" strips. The way some people join them where they cut a small hole it the end of two strips and pull one end thru the other one, makes a "hard" space in your work where its very uncomfortable to step on the rug, sometimes. Thank you for sharing this technique. Forget if you mentioned it, but, I'm hoping to find a way to cut large sheets into a long, continuous strip. But, thank you for sharing this technique with us. Keep 'em coming, please.

      Yes. Just make sure you have washed and dryer all the materials first so when you wash your rug it will not loose it's shape.

    • @RagRugsbyErin
      @RagRugsbyErin  Před 4 lety

      It is the nature of rag rug making. I pull them off the best I can as I do. I also prefer percale sheets. I use at least 50% cotton.
