You’ll want to reapply threadlocker to the pinion gears set screw. I find that locktite blue isn’t strong enough.. most people use Red but I have great results from permatex Orange which doesn’t require heat to remove.
Also, give the motor Mount screws some good heat before you take them off the first time. They’re notorious for being drenched in threadlocker and get stripped easily
I also purchased one on sale. I haven't run my mine yet. I watched a few videos. You took off most of the body panels so this won't matter. But, some people add a small washer to the cage screws so they to pull through. Most people like it. If you are familiar with Kevin Talbot he tested one and liked it. I think he had a slight bend in the chassis But, after that he did most chassises would bend and he didn't think it was big deal. I bought the upgraded chassis braces and an upgraded version of the main brace. One criticism I saw was that some people blew out front wheel bearings, which was probably a factory issue. I am looking forward to seeing your follow up videos and getting mine out and bashing it.
As far as I know, it’s Talbots fav Arrma now. Long chassis and wide track FTW. He doesn’t run the Fireteam body though.
@@netcruzer I am talking about Kevin Talbot. He tested about a year ago with the white Fireteam body. After the first beating he gave it the chassis was straight.

Question, you mentioned that Spektrum has a better receiver. Would you recommend upgrading? Looking on line there are a few. I am new to the RC world
Any that are DSMR with AVC, but then you also have to upgrade the transmitter too. The RX in the Fireteam is dual protocol, not the TX. At this point you could just get an aftermarket radio system with a gyro Rx for cheaper. Such as RadioLink.
