Despite all bugs and cons of this remake over the original. This game is still fine to be playable and i'm grateful that Classic Angry Birds is back. Also, this is the moment where Angry Birds 2 is no longer a sequel without a prequel game.
They remade the game in a version before coins and gems.
eh.....I'd argue it has more pros with not having any ads really.
@@amazingnate which is the 2012 version but not the 2013 - 2017 version; how the game was before power-ups too and also the Mighty Eagle League and don’t forget about Red’s Mighty Feathers.
I’d have to say the cons of this game is that it is the 2012 remake and not the 2013 one because it has no power-ups and has less levels and the animations are kinda flawed too.
@@bombexplorer2513I feel that even if they didn't wanna add any of the power-ups and gems back in, they could've still brought back Red's Mighty Feathers and Short Fuse. They're both amazing chapters, and it just doesn't feel right to not have them!
It feels weird playing after 6 years. It makes sense there are a few bugs and tweaks to work out. This is the first version. I bet there will be constant updates. Rovio will be able to afford it with how many downloads they will get again.

Besides the pause menu glitch, I haven't really had many issues with the game, but I will agree it's in desperate need of a "Day 1" patch.

I have a weird bug where the chapter icons don't show on the start screen even though I have all 3 stars on 4 of the chapters.
When something returns you can't always expect a perfect return
I'm glad the game is back there's no more unskippable adverts, no in game currency systems and no microtransactions. This is angrybirds how I remembered it as a kid. The game could use some work including adding the levels that are currently missing but at the moment I'm happy with it. This video feels like nitpicking on the smallest details though with the font being different or the sound being off. It doesn't matter the game is back.
I bought the game 3 minutes after it came out and my first impressions were: “This feels like a fangame.” There’s just things in the game that feels off to me.

The position of the the icons? The size? The terms of serivce? The language thing? The credits? The button looks? The no new on surf and turf? The chuck not being the beta version? The sounds? The weird sloppy animations? The weird sloppy movement? The font? The shadows? The slingshot position?
I went on Google Play at midnight and couldn't find it I'm pretty sure if I just scroll down I could have found it but I was able to still get it in the morning.
if they fix a few things and make it feel same it will have a higher chance to go well and we will have them remake more games :)

I bought it and I think the game is fantastic. I have noticed some of the birds sounding a bit off, but I'm sure they will fix it.
The cheering sounded half assed
the sounding can sound normal and then not, so i think its intended
They did it intentionally so each bird does not sound the same as red
I absolutely love the classic game, but there's a few cons to it.
1. The designs of the birds and pigs are the old ones instead of the Chrome designs, although the designs used right now are very nostalgic, so I don't think that's really a problem for some people.
2. Matilda is in corpse mode in her tutorial. That's just weird!
And bomb is short fuse in tutorial
I think they will keep the old designs in the birds, and I believe it's the right decision
I don’t like deflated Matilda, it’s weird. Is her body the egg, and when she pushes it out, there’s nothing inside her? Good thing they changed that in the 2017 version

not too bad a remake but surely needs some work. definitely feel like this is something to wait on until it gets a patch or two and maybe some new episodes, i think for now i'll just stick to pretty much every other version as there isn't much here that makes it a worthy purchase imo.
They need to fix background screen of bird flying on menu, the original the game suppose start add red begging off then blue,chuck, bomb and so on. I just don’t think game feel right.

@@solo_leo4454 fair enough, a lot of people are nitpicking and i am also lol. i actually ended up buying it and it isnt as bad as i imagined, but i do feel like it needs some work still as a lot of the smaller details of the game have been passed over

Despite the fact it feels like Rovio did a potluck with 2012 updates, I still find this remake great. As an IOS user, there’s only two choices: Play RC:AB or play Classic from 2019. Since there’s no APKs on IOS, I’ve kinda missed playing this simple version of AB. It’s buggy, but it gets the job done.
the slingshot garter has a weird scaling when shooting. looks like they need to fix the spring-joint component
One of the sounds of the battle cries when the level starts might be an unedited version or something, it sounds closer to the cutscene of the last level in worlds. This is just a guess though

I wish the camera in this one wasn’t so far away on 16 by 10 screens to the point where empty parts of the levels were visible. This wasn’t an issue in the original game.
If you use a controller to select the back arrow, it appears correctly but its harder to tap.
This remake isn't too bad. The game seems to function well and play as classic Angry Birds should. The visuals also look fine, though some animations could definitely use a fix up.
The only thing I'm not fan of is the sound design. For whatever reason the bird sounds seem to a pitch randomizer applied to them. This might not be too bad for casual players, but to a longtime player it's very noticeable and distracting. Especially on the level startup sound where the birds prepare to launch. Hopefully that gets fixed in an update too.
Been playing this since 2010, I actually quite like the pitch-shift of the bird sounds. Keeps things a little more fresh every level. Should be an option though
My only problem is the lack of the victory theme
Angry birds network retweeted some rovio worker who is asking for people to send them a list of little details for a future patch so yeah hopefully they fix it sometime soon

And not to mention that it didn't get advertised as much on their CZcams channel on the days before release. Usually when a game or remake is coming out, there's tons of promotion, but for some reason the remake didn't get advertised as much as the other games. The only platform that it got advertised the most was on their Twitter account. At least Sonic Colors Ultimate or the Crash N. Sane Trilogy remakes got some promotion before their games came out.

Nice to play og angry birds, but the extra episodes added such as throughout its life made angry birds better. It’s a little dry on episodes, maybe they could add the 7 extra episodes to it. But this is supposed to be 2012 angry birds, not 2017 angry birds. We got what we wanted at least. While it runs good, the birds and birds cheer sound lower pitch sometimes. The lower pitch on the structures breaking sounds much more satisfying though. It’s also very slow loading in and out of episodes, that’s annoying
They didn't say that it would be based off of the December 2012 version.
But they said it would be remade l in a version from 2012.

Power-ups are removed, but to compensate, three stars is easier to get.
That's bc the game was totally based on 2012 version, the power ups appeared in the later versions. I had a galaxy note 2 with 2014 angry birds classic (4.2.1) installed and there are power ups
When i was playing myself i noticed something. In this version birds are WAY more powerful than in the original version.
in my opinion this is better then before the new sounds when a bird hits or misses a pig is cool the only thing that could made this even better is reds mighty feathers
The animations look like they're made in 2000s flash
It feels like a fever dream while looking at this remastered version, its like a mandela effect everything seems the same but its not as satysfing as it was before
I noticed a lot of problems such as, Bomb's tutorial looks like electrical Bomb, Matilda in her different form on the slingshot when they introduce you to her, distorted sounds and a lot more but at least they tried.
There’s an update on the way to fix a lot of the problems that have come up, should be running better after that
idk if its just me but the animation and sounds looks and heard like it did in 2011. it gives me nostalgia def buying it again
It feels off because the game was made in Unity, new engine, its the only way because they needed to update the game with modern assets, etc, their game was too old to be updated.
btw, the sounds sound off because Randomly, they would play in a Different Pitch/note so the sounds dont feel the same all the time, just a small detail but i can live with it.

I feel the cutscenes music is still the same as the Original Classic, The Animation of the tutorial does look a bit weird but atleast they didn't anything with the pigs

that's how that... works? They swtiched so that they could keep updating the game, obviously it wont be flawless the day of release.
@@meatyman4803 I get that, but why is something like the sound and graphics messed up? Hell, it took them until the first update to fix the star graphics being backwards. I'm fine with stuff like this, it takes time and mistakes happen. But until I can get 100% with mighty eagle on level 4-12 I won't stop complaining. (As of right now, it is literally impossible. I've destroyed every block and it caps at 93%)

Update: They fixed the slingshot and the pitch shift. I’m still waiting for them to match the camera with the original.

Many of the bugs have been addressed with a patch and even if the animation like the Stars are kind of off.

When I was younger I remember playing a mode that had like a super Bomb, where he exploded larger and blue, and then there was a mode where they gave red powers and he had like feathers orbiting him I believe, were these actual modes from the original game or were they from seasons or something??
Yes those were in the OG game which was even free.
You can still download the OG game as APK and it works
They should at least be an option to toggle between the old designs and chrome designs.

@@joshuastoaac9572Chrome has uglier pigs and Boomerang Bird, White Bird is mad and Bomb Bird lost his spot later on but he still had it for a bit in the Chrome style
Beaks also open differently and the damage sprites for the birds are worse
One thing I don’t like is 1-7 is feel off you suppose to kill a pig in the middle, but the new version of game just don’t let you. But surely there will fix it.

I'll be honest I prefer the newer designs for the birds (Toons/Anrgy Birds 2) except Hal, what the heck did they do to Hal they just keep changing his design and when I finally adjust and get used to his current design they make a new one. Rovio make up your mind! But thanks for giving me a nostalgia trip.

The pitch bug had to do with the game engine Unity being stupid. They did a workaround patch for it but the bug was because of Unity and not them
The fact that you made a theory about them not wanting the game to do well by marketting on the not well-known channel, just for it to actually be they were a day late to putting it on the app store
It’s an amazing game for me. Despite its bugs and the fact that some levels are impossible to achieve like the original 2009 game

Here are things that might be the reason why it's triggering anyone.
The position of the the icons? The size? The terms of service? The language thing? The credits? The button looks? The no new on surf and turf? The chuck not being the beta version? The sounds? The weird sloppy animations? The weird sloppy movement? The font? The shadows? The slingshot position? The different color than usual on the bird guide/pig guides? The chuck appearing on the first page of the cutscene? The removed white circle on bomb?
Some things you metioned are understandable and I also want changed, but some things feels like nitpicking tbh:

2. Thats has been gone for years
Also... beta version chuck wasn't meant to be there, if he was the game would just look more unpolished and inconsistent

@@EpikBirb the 2012 version did not have a lot of these things, and even then we didn't want (at least I think most) didn't want a 1:1 remake of AB 2012, we wanted Angry Birds to be back as it was in 2012, new levels, new games, overrall high quality, not literally the 2012 version
My only gripe is not using chrome sprites, other than that, it's very good

The least they could have done was keep the Pigs' current designs to be on par with the cutscenes.

I wish some people would stop hatin on this. Its a true return just like we all wanted. It's still angry birds. You still fling angry birds out of a slingshot at bad green piggies and they're buildings who stole your eggs and will try to eat them. (Or atleast king pig will eat them). If its buggy rovio will probably patch them. There's no microtransactions or ads here. It's at a reasonable price only one dollar. Plus you gotta remember this is completely remade from the ground up. Just appreciate this a little bit atleast. Especially the fact if we will get the other angry birds games.🐷🐽🥓🐦🐔🐤🐓🦅🦆🍳🍳🍳🍽

You can get this for free using a download link on a pc.
But if you have a phone you gotta get this, you won’t regret
If you had downloaded the classic app before on your Ipad or IPhone and accidentally deleted you can install it again

I didn't expect the remake to have different sounds and animations and I hate them. I expect that it would be the same version of 2012. Rovio needs to fix all of that.
