I found it very odd that the German version of this boxset actually contains two extra movies, Disney's Dinosaur and Winnie the Pooh 2011. I don't know why they took it out from the UK version.
That’s a truly spectacular set and, I’m guessing, is one of your most prized additions to the collection. I’m not a huge Disney fan myself though growing up I watched most of the old classics and love Basil the Great Mouse Detective. I also recall having a penchant for the “darker” titles like The Black Cauldron and The Fox and the Hound. What are your opinions on CGI animation vs. traditional 2D animation? Maybe you could tackle that subject in a video sometimes? With recent films like Spider-Man Into The Spiderverse, The Mitchells vs The Machines and The Bad Guys studios are somewhat embracing a hybrid 2/3D aesthetic but I’d personally love a return to the animation of old and less reliance on CGI which, though impressive, has kinda lost its initial awe inspiring lustre and is occasionally lookin* a bit too familiar and similar in recent years. But that’s just my opinion though speaking of CGI animation where’s Dinosaur in the boxset? I’m guessing it was excluded because it bombed big time and was, let’s face it, pretty boring and a forgettable misfire but I recall it coming out around the time if Fantasia 2000 so it counts as an official release or perhaps it doesn’t. Oh, and I’ve got all your films in a box ready to be sent but I’ve not been well of late and been really under the weather this past week. I’ve not forgotten you though and will endeavour to get them sent as soon as I can muster some energy. Look after yourself in the meantime and enjoy diving into that boxset. I’m sure you’ll have a blast and I’ll await your opinions. Oh, and one more thing! How do you feel about the news that Jim Carrey might be retiring? I’m guessing you’re sad and hope he’ll change his mind. I personally think he needs more movie offers akin to Eternal Sunshine, Truman Show and Man on the Moon and maybe he’s just a bit tired of all the madcap mayhem and comedy roles. Who knows, eh? And on that note I’ll say goodbye and no doubt be aback soon, hopefully with less of a bloody headache and aching bones! Take care, Megz :)
Yes it definitely is now one of my prized possessions in my collection and I really look forward to watching the older stuff as I’m so used to watching the 90’s onwards and black cauldron is one at the top of my list to watch. That’s a great idea I will add that to my original vs remake series as I have been meaning to branch off into other things for that series. Yeah I never understand why dinosaur wasn’t in the collection but I did pick it up cheap on blu ray so I now have all the classics. Awe hope your feeling better and don’t worry about it just send it whenever you get a chance there is no rush your health comes first. I’m definitely gutted about the news as he is my favourite actor of all time also agree with you I think it would definitely need to be a script like Truman Show or Eternal Sunshine as I don’t think he would do anything else (except maybe sonic 3). @@MegzMoviez95 It's a pity that people can't see that for its time Song of the South represented an attempt at improving race relations. SOTS is one of the most beautiful Disney movies ever made but people only want to focus on the negative so they can't appreciate its beauty.

I do think it’s interesting how they put The Wild in there instead of Dinosaurs given that Dinosaurs is part of the animation canon but not the wild.
