Edit: I tried to speak to friends on discord and they complained about the mic! Its really strange though, I think I sound good when I record myself. Also, discord voice settings are all turned off. Any tips?
@@ven4673 some people might think that your voice is overly basey which is what some of my friends think. try turning down your bass frequency a little bit and see if it helps
While I do some light EQ myself from time to time, this heavily scooped sound feels artificial to me. I wouldn’t reduce the mids not half as much. It’s a matter of taste though, obviously.
Does Configuration and/or Peace have to be always open/running for these settings to be active? And also when i change something in Peace does it set into effect immediately? Like im trying to find good settings for discord but when i play with the settings, nothing really changes in discord. My friends same i still sound the same even though i set some values to extremes so i guess the changes do not apply to discord

In some cases, like in mine, when you turn on the _listen to microphone_ option, you will hear the sound getting looped. Instead, I recommend you switching the device from microphone to your headphones and test your voice on a pre-recorded sound track (for example in Audacity). When you're done, in Peace switch the device from headphones to microphone back.
I love what this has done on my HyperX Cloud 2! Thank you! One question though, I'm getting audio delay whenever I'm using Equalizer APO and PEACE. Is there a way to fix it? Thanks a lot!
I personally don't have any audio delay when using these programs. I would recommend trying to update your drivers. Download a program called "driver booster 4" it will scan your computer for drivers that need to be updated and this could possibly fix your audio delay issues
How did you manage to make it function properly with your HyperX headset? I own the HyperX Cloud 2, the microphone quality sounds horrible. I attempted adjusting it using the Peace software, yet regardless of my efforts, the sound quality remains unchanged. I must be making a mistake somewhere.

You can achieve this by using the configuation editor. You need to set up your devices in the config section and use a VST plugin to EQ your mic separately from the EQ setting of your playback devices.
very nice done, but how do you hear youself ? i tried this but i do not hear my self when i set it to my mic from my heqdset, also when i use peace for pc souinds , i cant choose MIC settings so need to be both together but thats not posible i think whit peace EQ
go to your sound settings then find more sound settings, go to the recording tab. find ur mic, then after u clicked on it once go to properties. go to the listen tab and click listen to this device. he explains it in the video
Hello, would be very glad if you could help me. I basically setted up my mic almost the same way as you showed in the video and it sounds amazing even tho it is only headset one, but in order to achieve this goal my headphone speakers sound kinda terrible now. What I did different is in effects panel turned on upmix to not center and upmix way to always. I did that because altought end result sounded nice it was way too quiet for some discussions on discord. I might have just turned pre amplyfying very high, which was exactly what I did at first. The sound of that was very distorted and all the noise from backround was there too. Everything was solved when I turned these 2 things on. The thing is that I cannot use these settings only with mic, because when I try that it sounds like without any modifications. Is there anything I am doing wrong? If possible I would like to have decent headphone speakers as well.
If you have discord or something like that I can walk you through. I'm pretty sure I know what the problem is but it's really difficult to explain over the comments.

Not really sure how do you consider that you sound better with these EQ, you sound like you have a cold or underwater. Your voice without the EQ is wayyy better imo
Not gonna lie, I much prefer how you sounded without the super heavy bass and high treble... Default bass doesn't need to be increased at all in your case, but the highs can be increased *slightly*.
I'm probably late to answer. But you want to make sure that on the right site under where it says "Select a speaker" that you've selected your microphone and NOT "All devices"
I have the Rode NT USB too and, even when it's edited, doesn't sound half as good as your unedited version, IDK what happens. I consider it the worst microphone I could buy...

Make sure you choose the microphone if it’s a headset and not just the headset or speakers if u get what I mean. You do this on peace
