Hello Wildflowers! In this episode of 'The Rambling Rose' we'll be getting all romantic and celebrating Beltane with a scrumptious breakfast in bed, conjuring up some kitchen witchery with strawberries, and making a dreamy, sensual herbal bath soak in the name of Aphrodite. We'll also be painting another page for my new book ‘Wild Faerie Magick’.

Summer is a nice time to film the Australian bush (even if you have to watch out for snakes!), and I'd like to film more wildlife and native herbs... let me have a good think about this one. I wouldn't call myself a faerie expert, rather an admirer and student of their beautiful ways, but I'll do some research and try my best for you xx

Another wonderfully beautiful creation dear Nancy! You now have me daydreaming of bathing in flowers under the moon ( no bath here though sadly!) The lavender and cornflowers are abundant here at the moment, so I will find another way to enjoy their spring infused magic. Love the idea of the the herbal sleep pillow too! I've always wanted to make one but have never been much into sewing but would adore seeing what you create! Much love xxx

I love it because it can be thick and opaque or transparent, depending on how much water you use, but I would prefer it come in tubes, because mixing colours uses up so many brushes! So this morning, I frisbeed some toast at my kids, bashed a handful of sunscreen onto my hand and wildly smeared it over them (as they nonchalantly stretched and draped themselves around the lounge room, waking up slowly, not a deadline or a care in the world), herded them into the car, dropped them off with my coffee in hand and raced in the fast lane to arrive at work with two minutes to spare, with Dom Dolla Miracle Maker cranked to get me pumped…
This. This is a beautiful change of pace. The kids had it right, it’s a gorgeous summer day in Tassie. They’ll do their bush kinder, cook some damper, then kick off their shoes after school and dirty up those school uniforms as they catch crabs and find shells at the beach opposite the school.
Again a perfectly timed video for me; on our local Buy Nothing group I was gifted a bunch of beautiful dress patterns for my daughter, so I’m finally going to expand my life skills and use the bag of fabric I got 50% off at Spotlight three years ago 😄
Wow! I just googled that song, Erica. It's going to be my new favourite 'pump up' song, I believe. Yesss, get that dusty sewing machine out, my love! I've already planned out my costume for next Samhain (Halloween), and I'm going to sew it all from scratch... nervously excited for that craft project to come to life!
