l learned who John was _because_ he wouldn't close his church! l live in Canada where not ONE church is open. :( Johnny Mac taught The Word in _such_ a way, that l realized l was happily heading to the WIDE door! Now l have been shown the way to the NARROW door! May The Lord bless John for shepherding the flock! _ALL GLORY_ goes to The KING of kings, and LORD of lords!

The tuition fee we pay a year is R4000 (271.18 USD a year), we receive study material worth R15 000 (1029.51 USD), the tuition fee covers for our education and good. The institution accepts plus less than 100 students a year and employees 20 permanent staff members. The amount we pay is way low to meet all the financial burden to the institution. @@MandyAltamirano...I admired Pastor John MacArthur until I recently heard about the horrific treatment of one of their members, Eileen Gray, when she reported abuse at the hands of her husband, David (David also abused their children mentally, physically, and sexually). I looked into the accusation, and it's true. Mind you, the case goes back 20ish years ago, but her husband is in jail serving 21 years to life for his crimes, so her claims had merit, because David admitted to the charges and the court found him guilty -- and, quite frankly, she and her children will live with the scars of what happened for the rest of their lives. Also, David had a position at the church working with children, so this isn't a matter to be taken lightly. Anyway, Eileen went to Grace Community Church for counseling initially, but they failed her. They added insult to injury BIG TIME by blaming her for what was happening and telling HER to repent! The gaslighting and victim blaming is what I'd expect from a cult, such as Scientology -- not from GCC nor from Pastor John MacArthur. I lost respect for him after reading and hearing about their treatment towards her and pray that he, and others at GCC, will repent of their sinful attitude towards Eileen Gray. The seeming lack of remorse and Christian charity in this matter is beyond unsettling.

I don't know about you. But my experience in the use of the label "Christian" doesn't separate it from any other false label the world uses to mistakenly identify things.
What happens in my daily experience is I hear all these annoying people trying to get my attention with their insults and derogatory remarks. I hear the word "punk" a lot (one of the reasons I stopped going to church. Thought it was supposed to be a place of refuge to get away from that crap.) It seems if they find something in particular that produces the negative effect they desire then they find joy in that and get repetative with it.
But, anyway, the term Christian only comes up in rotation when other words have failed to stick or that I haven't understood them to be representational of anything I'm actually doing or that's really happening. That is to say, I don't use these terms to make agreements with other people about anything.
But, Christian is usually offered as a more agreeable alternative to these other slanders (or flattery, when the insults aren't working - as if it was really less disrespectful to offer what may be considered a better title or term of suggestion when it's still someone else trying to act like they can tell me about myself being what I am?) And seemingly under the threat that if it isn't accepted then the attempt to continue to identify me according to one of these other less favorable false terms will resume.
So, it's kinda like a temptation to agree with the world about what it means for me to be who I am in order to get them off my back, which I refuse to do.
I mean, if I'm a Christian then do I have a Christian behind that Christian feces comes out of? (Didn't use the words I usually make that expression with which are usually considered "profane") Never been much on naming turds, but I really don't see how that's anything different than whatever else this bogus world is made of.

Let me just say that it was you, Justin, that introduced me to him and then i discovered he is on my local UK Christian radio station in the wee small hours when i cant sleep and it's been amazing listening to him. Going back to the video i was watching when i got irked. It was nothing that he had said that was wrong, i never watched to the end and jumped the gun. So i wrote to his organisation and got a lovely reply that explained everything that i'd had doubts about. He then asked me if he could send me a MacArthur study bible for nothing! I'd only dreamed about owning something like that. I received that and several other books and im very grateful for their generosity. We are to judge the true and the false from their fruits. What are the fruits of those who follow macarthur's teachings?
What I see are believers who are VERY WEAK IN THE FAITH OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. They are clueless about walking as He walked having a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with the FATHER.
They have FORM OF RELIGION but Deny The Power so they aren't lead to heal the sick, cast out demons and raise the dead. We are to AVOID THEM - 2Timothy 3:5. The POWER referred to in the scripture is the same word for POWER referred to by The LORD in Acts 1:8 and Luke 24:49, in the Greek. The manifestation of The Power was seen in Acts 2, which was the BAPTISM of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other Tongues.
I am not sure if macarthur preaches REPENTANCE as a precondition to Salvation. (First part of Acts 2:38. Read from verses 36-39). That will bring a person to the place of Adam, who was created (not a Son of God) without sin. Such a person is not a Temple of the Holy Spirit with the Spirit of The LORD dwelling in the Person - 1Corinthians 3:16, 6:19.
They do not have the Mind of Christ or The Power to do His Works. They interpret the "will" of The LORD through their reasoning which is declared IMPOSSIBLE to understand spiritual truth - Romans 8:5, 1Corinthians 2:9-16. GOD is Spirit - John 4:24. You HAVE TO BE BORN AGAIN OF THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD to be one with Him.
A person who ONLY TRULY REPENTS but cannot follow up on the other TWO parts of SALVATION - if they repent on their deathbed or someone prays for their forgiveness under John 20:23, will not go to hell but will have no Authority to walk in The Authority of GOD on the earth.
The LORD walked as a man ANOINTED with The HOLY Spirit - Acts 10:38. The Father was IN Him - John 10:30-39. His Spirit therefore was Holy and Of The Father GOD - 1Timothy 3:16. His Soul was still of Adam and He was in sinful flesh - Romans 8:3. He had the Spirit without measure. He controlled His Soul by obeying The Father in Him in all He did - John 5:30. (satan at the time He walked on the earth before overcoming death, was not defeated. The LORD had Authority to defeat satan because He was also the Son of Man John 5:27). In Romans 1:3-4, we see Him overcoming death, completely defeating satan and becoming The SON of GOD seated at The Right Hand of The Father with Power - Ephesians 2:6.
This is why He said that we should rejoice that He was going back to The Father in a place of POWER and Authority as GOD with complete Victory and darkness vanquished. He would no longer be a man with the Spirit of GOD in Him and anointed with The HOLY Spirit, while satan was yet to be defeated on the earth by His Sacrifice for our sins and the sins of all creation. In 1John 4:17 we are told we are just like Him on this earth. He also told us that we would do greater things than He did because satan was no longer with power, the power satan had, when The LORD Jesus walked the earth, before He overcame death and became The Son of GOD with Power - John 14:12.
We have to recognize, call forth and implement that VICTORY in our every situation- bodies, other people affecting our space etc.
It is only our ignorance that can allow a fully defeated enemy to have access to our space with his nature to kill, steal and destroy - Hosea 4:6, John 10:10.
macarthur is a heretic because he does not preach the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other Tongues with the Power of The HOLY Spirit, dwelling in the Believer who becomes a Temple of The HOLY Spirit - 1Corinthians 3:16, 6:9.

I am sure there are those who may be irritated with him who are “woke” and would just love it if he would just water down the gospel so they would feel comfortable.

If he was not able to raise his children in a godly manner John McArthur would be disqualified from the ministry in accordance with scripture. His children and children in law being involved in the church is not an indictment it is a commendation. Personally I don't know enough about his ministry apart from youtube content to make any judgement of his lifestyle or his ministry impact. But 52 years without proven scandal? This happened with Ravi zacharias and many other men throughout history and has brought shame to the name of JESUS. You really must get out more. There is plenty of very credible testimony, (much of it examined through due process of law, which put a wife and child abuser JM’s church protected in prison for 21-years-life) from people who have suffered in a costly way to follow Christ in their consciences and who don’t like seeing Scriptures twisted or the vulnerable abused, who have given evidence to the contrary about JM. The charges (which have stuck on biblical grounds) are far more serious than keeping a bit too much of his wealth for himself. Time to wake up. Jesus himself warned us about false apostles pretending to be the real thing, who would be like satan, who disguises himself as a angel of light. Our culture is full of these.
Sorry to say that although I agree with certain positions JM has taken, at the end of the day his words and actions that have not until recently been so much in the limelight, very much fit the profile of a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

I was just sent a screenshot of a tweet from Julie Roys that (I believe) she posted this morning. Julie began saying yesterday that I deleted her comments that she was posting on this video. She publicly accused me of doing something I emphatically did not do. Others began posting questions asking me why I deleted her comments and saying that I had something to hide or was afraid of the truth. I did not see her first comment(s?) - and still have not - much less deleted them. She posted another last night that I did see. I responded to her. Now, apparently, according to the screenshot sent me she is once again accusing me of deleting her comments.
She tweeted, "@JustinPetersMin says he didn't delete 2 of my comments yesterday & I took him his word. However, I left this comment on his CZcams thread 10 min ago. Now it's gone. Apparently Justin wants to shield people from info that doesn't match @Phil_Johnson's narrative. Sad."
In the one comment from her last night that I did see, Julie requested that I interview her to give her side of the story. I told her that I did not delete any of her comments and never even saw any that she left. At the time, there were over 2400 comments and so it is quite reasonable to assume that I could not possibly read them all. I can't. Did she leave comments? She says she did, but I did not see them. I told her in my response that "with a crystal clear conscience before God" I did not see anything from her until the comment to which I was at that moment responding. I also told her that publicly accusing me of something I did not do did not exactly incline me to want to interview her. Call me crazy, but that is the truth. Now, per her tweet I just quoted above she is AGAIN publicly accusing me of hiding or deleting her comments. I have done no such thing. To this very moment the only comment from her that I have seen on my CZcams channel is the single one to which I responded last night (February 21st). I only hide comments from people who are vulgar or obviously vitriolic and not interested in truth.
She is apparently pretty desperate to have me interview her on my youTube channel. I am not going to for the following reasons: 1) I have only interviewed a very few people and the ones I do interview are those with whom I share theological beliefs and convictions. 2) I am not a reporter. I am an evangelist. 3) Julie wants me to interview her so she can give her response to Phil. Julie is free to write whatever she wants to write and, obviously, she does. I interviewed Phil to give him an opportunity to respond to her accusatory article on John MacArthur. "Her side" of the story is presented every time she writes an article. She does not need me to get "her side" of the story out. I have absolutely no desire to serve as a go-between between her and Phil. That's not what I do. Again, I am not a reporter. 4) She has now twice accused me of something I did not do. Rather than try to contact me privately, she publicly accused me of being secretive and trying to hide facts. I just checked my email and I do not have anything from her despite my email address being very public on my website. If she wants me to interview her, publicly accusing me - twice - of something I did not do is not the best way to go about getting a positive response to her requests. Sadly, I am now getting a first-hand taste of the very concerns with her Phil has expressed.
What happened to her comments? I do not have the slightest, foggiest idea. I have not blocked her, I have not deleted anything from her. Nothing. For those of you who refuse to believe me, there is likely nothing I can say to change your mind. But, this I know: I care FAR more what God thinks of me than I do anyone else. I know that if I am lying it is to Him that I will one day give an account and that thought terrifies me far more than having to give an account to Julie Roys or anyone else.
And, Julie, in case it is me upon whom you are desiring to next set your investigative sights, perhaps I can save you a little trouble. My wife and I live in a 1,500 square foot condo and my salary is 5 figures (and well - well - shy of 6 at that). In full disclosure, I do have two - count them 2! - electric mobility scooters. They are made by Pride Mobility and my particular models are called the GoGo LX (3 wheel model). They have front suspension (soooo posh!) and go from 0 to a blazing 4.4 mph in about 2 seconds flat. It can be see here: www.pridemobility.com/go-go-travel-mobility/go-go-lx-with-cts-suspension-3-wheel/ I have two because one was getting old and the annoying horn wouldn't stop going off on its own. We haven't thrown it away yet - keeping it for spare parts should they be necessary.

On the very, very serious side. Why do you preach from a lying Jesus bible? John MacArthur, in his study bibles, corrects the lie but does not yell, BLASPHEMY!
He allows for the uninspired but older manuscripts, to superceded the Textus Receptus. The Alexandrian manuscripts are used over the Antioch manuscript.
Jesus.when He quoted the protphets did not say, Well I think so even though we do not have the original manuscript No. He believed it was the preserved word of God.
Mr. Ehrmann said there are too many manuscripts that disagree with each other. God's word is not preserved, because no one can tell which is which. Even Paul warned that letters were sent under his name that were not from him. John warned in 1 John that many anti Christ werecalrrady there among them.
We all know that Mr. Ermann's God is
to small. But what is our excuse???
The system set up by King James and those asked to translate was brilliant. See: Tares Among the Wheat Sequal video CZcams.
I pray that you stop to think of the seriousness of this!!! Because there are so many translations and supposedly no standard, God's word is mocked. The faith of many a Christian has been shipwrecked. Again, this is very, very serious. Christisn students have been told to choose from among the bibles what to believe.

Thank you to Phil and Justin for clarifying the facts. When a pastor is in receipt of the Holy Spirit Christ's sheep hear His voice. I hear the truth in Pastor John's sermons on very many occasions. I am more than convinced he is one of the most accurate teachers of the Bible today, only because if what he teaches. However, his fan group quotes and postings do sometimes alarm. None of us are above reproach. None of us are perfect in the flesh. Christ knows that, and He chooses His true disciples for good reason at critical times in human history. Pastor John is one of the very few preachers who is teaching essential truth in these End Days. OK, I have had thoughts about the number of suits and ties Pastor John has, but it's not what we own that becomes the problem more than why we own it and how. I have heard some bitter and nasty comments and videos about him and agree they are an attempt to discredit him. I don't personally know Pastor John or his family. What matters to me, and should matter to all of us, is Gospel truth and whether the Church is helping us to know Christ and advance our faith. Thank you again for this interview. God bless.🙏😀

I agree wealth is not evil.

Satan's attacks always come the hardest against those who preach the truth. “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account." (Matthew 5:11). I have no doubt that Pastor MacArthur will continue to preach the truth, regardless of the attacks. And they will continue to come, even harder. God will watch over Pastor MacArthur as he continues to preach the Word.

No one is perfect in the knowledge of God's word. 1Cor13:9.
We are to preach Jesus Christ and not preach the faults of others. Let the master judge his servants for himself.
Those ministries that continue to preach the faults of others should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Everyone is persecuted for something. Nobody is more special than anyone else. We all fall short. I still enjoy the teachings, but it really made me wonder when John MacArthur states you can be forgiven for taking the mark of the beast. Sheep in wolves clothing?? Only God really knows. Makes me sick to think about it although I do. I hope this lie doesn't keep someone from coming to Jesus.

Listening to Pastor John MacArthur brings me joy. As a true present truth messenger of God his no nonsense straight forward approach to God’s word is powerful (always on point) and presented in such a way that even a newcomer to the faith can understand the Bible. He truly by God’s grace has been a blessing to many. I so enjoy listening to your podcast. Thank you and God bless.

As of 2021, John MacArthur’s net worth is estimated at $20 million. Most of his revenues come from his position as a minister of Grace Community Church, which he has held since 1969. Additionally, he has earned significant revenue from his numerous bestselling books and speaking engagements.

Do you not know that we are not to eat with or bless those who preach another gospel? If we cannot eat with nor bless them, how can we have our face plastered all over their conference info?
Yet there is something even more disturbing. God said He preserved His word. Psalm12:6,7. You say He did not!
In fact your bible changes those verses I believe. They remove the precious promise.
John MacArthur knows clearly that the NASB quotes Jesus in a lie. He simply corrected it, I believe, by saying that some bibles have the words, not yet going. Should he not have said, BLASPHEMY! when he read the lie?
      Instead he promotes it.
Where? In John 7:8 his Jesus tells his brothers I am not going to the feast.
Jesus actually said I am not going up yet to the feast. KJB. They both wait and then go to the feast. Which one lied? Your Jesus. He said he was not going. How vile to accuse Jesus of lying!!!
Jesus is God. He is coming for His bride. For those who love Him first. He will be second to none, no matter how perfect your deeds are. Revelation 2:1-5.
Will you put a man before Him? Will you be more loyal to him than God? If you are truly John Mac's friends are you not to call the man to account? You cannot get more loving than that.
To promote the NASB is mind boggling. It was the first to add brackets to cast doubt on God's word.
Saying, older manuscripts say such and such. At least they had a semblance of honesty in their deception. They did not say those older manuscripts were inspired. How could they? The Alexandrian manuscripts do not agree with each other. And the Vaticanus disagrees with itself about 30 times per page.

Pastor John tells me what I don’t want to hear. Sometimes I fear that even though I’m saved I won’t be good enough because it feels like I’m not changing my sinful ways quick enough. This sounds negative but it’s not, I’d rather be convicted and saved than high on adrenaline with empty rushes of emotions some “churches” tickle my ears with. This channel and Grace to You is raising me, quite literally - there is a sense of calmness in being scared out of the world and loved back in a manner of order, self control and actually being serious for once- that’s true love, not the fireworks and falsehood garbage out there. I thank God for working through these men in truth and love.

I am glad you did this video so that people can see that John Macarthur is a humble man of God that gives way more than he gets. I know that I have sent off for some of his books and if a person can't afford a donation, then they have actually given some of them for free. Keep spreading God's word brother Macarthur, you have been a blessing in my, and my husband's lives.

@Adam H I checked out your comment and I did see where his son Mark and his Business Partner Cravette were implicated in Nondisclosure of how the Funds will be used to pay themselves. I can't find if they have been convicted. I know that they have been Ordered to pay out $16,000,000 to their Clients. These type of things happen daily in the Financial Investment World. Don't get me to go down that Rabbit Hole. But I will say that doesn't have to do with John's Sermons and his very sound Biblical Doctrine. I am glad my parents weren't Judged because of my actions in my teens and early twenties. I wasn't stealing but I was a Hellion. I was raised correctly but I rebelled as God knew I would. I am thankful for every whipping I got. So I don't think John is responsible for his son's actions. And I checked and Mark is not involved in the Church on the Board and both don't have control of the Purse of Grace Church. If John Writes Books he has a right as any Author to make a dollar. If he spends his time in Ministry of the Church like being over a Funeral and goes to the Hospitals and homes to visit and comfort his flock he deserves to get a check. It is the Deacon Board that decides how much he gets paid. John MacArthur is Sound in what he preaches and teaches. He give good direction. He preaches the Milk and the Meat. That is harder to find every day.

OK so two MacArthur sycophants ignore that MacArthur controls his organisation, that nepotism rules and millions are passed each year to family members, that he owns outright in the US alone three homes ... They totally ignored investigations into the awarding of degrees without proper verification and record keeping as well as the bullying and intimidation that was found to be rife among students and particularly staff in MacArthur's organisation.. A God forsaken place and a God forsaken organisation !! A God forsaken man !!

I worked in Christian publishing for 8 years. Authors (especially celebrity authors) often get significant numbers of free copies of their books to give away. It’s called marketing. Keep in mind it cost JM personally nothing and allows him to continue to promote himself to give books away free to those who can’t afford to pay. It’s good publicity.
