Very stronger and fiability engine with a manual transmission not sincronyzed transmission 18speed 👏👌 I driving a 92 model (190-48) over 2millions kms just a normal service and fuel 👏👏👌👍 exelente trucks IVECO today I don't know probably much electronics sensors... like all trucks!! IVECO is a great truck

@@peterscandlyn the model after 95 I don't know exactly if is the same like the oldest 🤔 but the older 190:48 V8 18liters!👌👏👍 no one passed a V8 IVECO the stronger engine with a manual transmission not sincronyzed is a really excellent truck 👏 I enjoying much driving and I never stuck on road! easy maintenance but needs check the engine oil every day and every time we stopped we need check under the engine if leaking oíl because some drivers never have attention and sometimes a small metal tube broke and that tube is a very important for lubrication a diesel pump!!! Anyway I missing that great truck that's a really IVECO 👏👌👍

Buona sera, è un peccato che non si costruisca più,un mezzo come questo, nel senso che lo si poteva migliorare e aggiornare, ma come si sà ,in italia si inventa il common rail, e lo si dà ad altri,la mitica lancia fulvia ,stratos, e si potrebbe continuare.....quando qualcosa funziona benissimo si smette di produrla.complimenti per il vs. Canale.

Comunque, per essere precisi, è17,2 litri...17.174 cc con 145X130 di alesaggio per corsa. In ogni caso, il miglior V8 per camion...almeno per il suo rombo super!

unfortunately i have to tell you, that this truck has been built in Germany. Like almost all of the EuroStars and EuroTech :-)
@@Scaniatom yes, IVECO started from Magirus Deutz and FIAT. But not sure they continued the German vision, you should recognize that they abandoned the air cooled engine for example. I am not saying that the German are not good, I am just saying that it is over-rated, when you say that the German trucks are the best or the German engines are the best, this is false. There are plently of other good industry tenants that are also good and even better. FIAT are as good as the German and at a VERY LOWER price. So Quality/Price ratio, I will certainly choose the Italian technology
@@youssefsabiri3860 I never will say german trucks were the best, at least in the 90s, when the Eurostar was in production. Mercedes SK surely didn´t match the big Ivecos (the first Actros certainly not at all ;-) ), MAN had the high-quality F2000 but they had the wrong engine for the wrong reason in that horsepower class. The only one brand that stood out in my opinion: Volvo. The new FH-Series were at least 10 years or so ahead of their time and did prove themselfes quickly. Despite the bunch of completely new features, they were reliable and super-efficient from the start in the end of 1993. Iveco Eurostar and Eurotech were designed and assemblied at the factory in Ulm, Germany. Even if the engine itself was an old italian design from the 60s or 70s, the Eurostar is a whole german truck. Of course, at that time they didnt offer Deutz-Engines anymore. The main reason for this move was, that Deutz didn´t own any company share of Iveco/Magirus any more. By the way, the concept of air cooled engines for road use has been given up long time ago due to emission regulations by almost every other truck brand. Maybe we can agree, that the italian automotive industry is one of the most underrated ones...
