Love This Movie Tim Burton is A GENIUS Johny Depp is Magnificent Eva Green is Phenomenal The Whole Cast is Outstanding Everything is Fantastic in this movie
I just LOVED Dark Shadows. Burton brought back his A game and though I never liked The Killers, this track is amazing and was a perfect fit for the film! High points all around!
I wish "go all the way" by the killers was released on the "dark shadows" soundtrack. as of march 4, 2019 the killers version has never been released in any way, shape or form. there should be a deluxe edition of the soundtrack. include all the songs from the film (the score included).
My friend died last december. Her favorite band was The Killers. On that day she died, I played this song at least 30 times, and for the next two weeks every day...Fantastic cover for a fantastic original song. Lots of emotions...
Until I watched the movie Dark Shadows I didn't know this excellent cover existed. Nice job by "The Killers". Now I'll be looking at more of their music!
@@briangoodspeed8807 They never claimed to have wrote it. Do you not know what a cover song is? Dumba$$. And if you're not a fan of The Killers why are you here?
First of all, theyre not idiots. Second, its actually a great cover. And third, a song not written by the covering artist isnt a reason for it to be available to stream. Duh.@@briangoodspeed8807
@@briangoodspeed8807 Plenty of songs not written by the performers are on soundtracks. Pretty sure your personal dislike wasn't a factor and more likely as a matter of respect from The Killers to not make money from their cover.
I am big Raspberries fan since their first album, but The Killers do a great job with "Go All The Way." But, I will always love the originals Raspberries version.
This song reminds me of the first time me and my husband made love this song will be so special to me as with my wonderful husband!! I love you James Nelson you will always be the love of my life! ❤️❤️❤️

Brandon Flowers is an excellent Keyboard player, awesome all round talent. He really nailed it with this cover. His choice for sound on the Dark Shadows soundtrack is brilliant.
Amazing... Most bands modernize a song when they cover it. These guys make it sound like it was recorded by Phil Spector 10 years earlier than the original. Brilliant.
me too as a kid late 1973 i loved this song but had no idea what they were singing. i love this version just as much. it does sound like the original but i detect a very subtle element of chiller in it. idk if it is my imagination cuz of the movie it is the soundtrack for. dark shadows movie i watched countless times and thought it was hysterical. the brother actor who played michelle pfeifer's brother (angelina's first husband irl) and lived at that beautifully spooky mansion cracked me up when barnabus emerged from a secret wing hidden under ground. that was his own home too and he had this puzzled look on his face, turns and see depps furtively appear apparently from a fireplace trap door the brother had no clue existed. the end when we see helena bonham carter wake up under water, this song is playing and i loved it. i'm not even sure i detected it was not the same band right away.
Sally MJ I dis-agree. I think the Killers did a great job. At least they were able to hit a different age group, otherwise would of never heard such a great song by the Raspberries .
Sally MJ I think they wanted to use it for the movie, but the original Eric Carmen version is not very clean, kind-of lo-fi and just not good audio quality, and they figured it would stick out in a movie theater, so they had to re-record it. I think that explains why this version sticks pretty close to the original -- if you're just watching the movie, you might not notice it wasn't.
Linas Vepstas I dunno... I think The Rasperries version is clean enough... I'm betting Marvel already had the rights to use it in Guardians of the Galaxy, so they probably had to make a cover if they wanted to use the song at all.
Thank you. I loved this song in the 70s and they've done it justice. There are few my age that don't have fond memories of this song. If you get my meaning. lol
Back when Eric Carmen (lead singer for the Raspberries) wrote this, the rumor was it was written to drive the BBC crazy after they banned The Beatles 'Please Please Me' for its sexually suggestive lyrics. The 'c'mon' in this song is supposedly a nod to The Beatle's song. Incidentally, this song was also banned by the BBC and was pretty scandalous in 70s USA, too!
this song was at a school dance. me and my friend started dancing like carolyn and a few people actually got it and caught on. and one of my teachers yelled "CAROLYN! WOULD YOU PLEASE TURN THAT NOISE DOWN!" and we all spun and looked at her and then fell on the floor laughing. but like seriously this version and everythings
I recognized this song when I heard it at the end of Dark Shadows, and new it was an older song, but couldn't remember who did it. I thought 'this guy kinda sounds like Brandon Flowers', so I watched the song credits, and then it all made sense.

Don't understand why so many critics were down on this movie. As already said, it is funny, entertaining, romantic, scary, odd, and all in all typical Burton. The cast I thought is perfect for this movie and the music is oh so appropriate, and great.
This song makes me feel like I can wake up in the middle of the night and need a very beautiful woman who is actually a vampiress and she doesn't drink my blood but falls in love with me

They can’t unfortunately as it was recorded as a favour to their friend Tim Burton and could only be used in the film itself.
My friend died last december. Her favorite band was The Killers. On that day she died, I played this song at least 30 times, and for the next two weeks every day...Fantastic cover for a fantastic original song. Lots of emotions...
I never knew The Killers covered this gem of a song. They're my favorite band too, but geez before they were great now they're awesome.
I’m sorry for your loss ❤

I wonder why this song is not available to stream or purchase anywhere. Very strange. It’s a great one!
Yes it drives me crazy I can't stream this or have it on a physical soundtrack at least. Maddening, it's amazing.
Because it was not written by these idiots called killers.

Mine too, and I'm a straight heterosexual married man.
This song makes me feel like flying.

Classic Raspberries tune; reached #5 and a gold record. Underrated band, power-pop Meisters.
That Vocal is pristine & mesmerising, Drums are perfection! BRILLIANT cover! Awesome band tight AF!
I never knew how complete love could be
Till she kissed me and said
Baby, please, go all the way
It feels so right
Being with you here tonight
Please, go all the way
Just hold me close
Don't ever let me go
I couldn't say what I wanted to say
Till she whispered, I love you
So, please, go all the way
It feels so right
Being with you here tonight
Please, go all the way
Just hold me close
Don't ever let me go
[Instrumental Interlude]
Before her love
I was cruel and mean
I had a hole in the place
Where my heart should have been
But now I've changed
And it feels so strange
I come alive when she does
All those things to me
And she says
(Come on), come on
(Come on)
(Come on), come on
(Come on)
I need you (come on)
I love you (come on)
I need you (come on)
(Come on)
Please, go all the way
It feels so right
Being with you here tonight
Please, go all the way
Just hold me close
Don't ever let me go, oh, no

My favorite part of the movie was the shock of hearing this song's intro at the end! Sang it for weeks afterwards!
As a little girl I would sing ," Don't go away" until I realised many many years later it's Go ALL THE WAY!!!
sweet
:D

I'm like that with song lyrics all the time.

Beautiful Slow Rock Songs 👍🥰💕🌹💖
Pretty good cover actually
Brandon Flowers has the perfect voice.
Dark shadows gave this song wings sky high
my wife of now 40 years used top sing me this song back in the 70's,,hahaha.
Never saw Dark Shadows till 2 nights ago. Johnny Depp at his best. And the Killers who outdid the Raspberries
when i heard this song at the end of the movie.. im like omg this is a great song i remember this... turns out the killers played it lol
Yeah I know it happened the same to me
They did the original justice. The raspberries don't play anymore, anyways.

Best part of the movie
@@matlilly8795 lrad singer of the Raspberries...Eric Carmen went on to have a successful solo career

It's a shame this wasn't on the Dark Shadows soundtrack :(
I know right? The best song from the whole movie
nah best song is the donovan song lol
to you who are new to this song, here's the original Raspberries - "Go All The Way"
If this had been inserted in the song album, Earth would be a better place.
They didn't put it in Spotify or apple music. It didn't even recognize on Shazam. This song is good. I know its just a cover but come on. Its good.
A great cover for a great band.
It's good, it's pretty polished - but doesn't hold a candle to the original. Eric Carmen's voice is haunting.
Well put

the Raspberries were awesome,i still listen to them to this day, this is a great cover though.
this song is at the Guardians Of The Galaxy first movie soundtrack too

I love this sooo much, better than the original imo! I want to live in this song.
I wish this song was included on the "dark shadows" soundtrack.
