You are a Rockstar in the making, this response video was very interesting, genuine responses, don't worry too much about the negative comments, you will never be able to please everybody, keep doing what you doing and the good fans will always be with you and your music. The song you just released "never get knowhere" is a masterpiece, i can feel cky vibes, it amazing how music and common taste in music brings us together. 🎶
Dude you should have shirts that say your name but in other band fonts. I do look forward to your album. I have been listening for a few Months now to your channel. Find myself playing chasing cars, covet alot. Keep on keepin on. Thank you

I have a huge crush on you because of your ability to sing ajd play guitar in many different styles. Extremely talented. Your mmbop by korn cover was randomly on my homepage when i discovered your channel, and it made my day. I shared it with several people❤ you are amazing
I love that "niche" artists who got passed over during the pre- and early internet days or just forgotten over time are getting attention now through people like you. It'd be cool to hear you do something with No Knife. The vocals on "Flechette" are similar /enough/ to Billy Joe that I feel like you could nail it.
Thanks for introducing me to Everything Everything. I'm stoked on their coherent diversity. Their new album is like a mixture between U2, Cake, Radiohead, Oingo Bingo and Bloc Party. Now that you've done me a solid. I'll return the favor. Knowing your favorite bands, I highly recommend you listen to Dredg "El Cielo" and "Catch without arms".
Found you 6 months ago, watched everything since, almost everything you make is in my daily Playlist. Guitarist and vocalist myself, your very talented, thank god you have the work ethic to match it
New viewer here. Very glad to know I will continue to see you grow now that I've binged and caught up to present. Oizys was a very touching song for me and my friend group, thank you for that.
Your original songs are awesome and I really enjoy them. I'm listening to them quite often on spotify! Thank you for sharing your music, it is so much appreciated! I really miss this kind of music and you're one of those few keeping it alive. You show that NuMetal and so on don't have to be dead. Your 'in style of' songs are also very professional and full of the right vibes from the good old times, and I just know you and Otu (moonic records) who are doing these kind of songs in the right way. So please don't worry too much about some comments and focus on the rest who really appreciate your songs, respect you and your talent and feel the passion you put into all of this! Keep it up! -Much love from Germany
For sure Deftones are now mainstream. I started listening to them back in the 90's. Nobody really listened to them back then, even metal heads were "yeah theyre cool, not my favorite band". Ive heard so many people say now they're their favorite band. I really enjoy your Deftones style songs but im definitely looking forward to seeing your original music.
I'm a metalhead and Everything Everything is one of my most listened to bands. So cool to hear you mention them. Their lyrics and melodies are incredible (and of course their weird genre/production style). I'd personally really love to hear you take a stab at them!
On Around the Fur v Adrenaline. Around the Fur feels like a warm up for White Pony, with similar themes in the lyrics and gestures in the melodies. Adrenaline, on the other hand, almost feels like a single, 47-minute song, like variations on a theme. It feels like the soundtrack to a warlock's journey to retrieve a forbidden spell or some shit. I love both, and that should be the moral of the story.
I really REALLY want to see how you produce your songs, DAW, plugins, etc. that would be awesome! You really figured out the sound of all your covers, I wanr to learn that
I never knew you did videos reacting to comments and sharing your opinions on music as well as "behind the scences" talk about the production of "if X wrote Y" as well as your own music. It was a very interesting insight, as well as getting to know more of your favorite artists that (at least to my knowledge) haven't been part of "if X made Y" songs. I'd really love to see your take on Enter Shikari, they're one of my favorite bands since I first heard of them back in 07/08.
Keep being you mac glocky, I will watch most of if not all you upload. Enjoy creating what you enjoy making, and I ask you to not make something you do not have fun making. Great VOD style video, I enjoyed hearing your incite into why you do this, Why you do what you do. Respect Mac, seriously I'm a fan. Please keep at it as long as you are still having fun, if you're still having fun I'll keep watching. You at point mentioned Elton John. Elton John's song "I'm still standing' Is cool, maybe not exactly dope but it's cool enough to be covered.I 'll leave it up to you figure out what style you'd be comfortable to do. And I get your comment about "Muse", Muse is Muse, they're like Tool and The Killers not exactly niche but their own thing with a almost cult like following. Muse is one those bands you don't mess up. Muse was cool to everyone when they debuted, a true cross genre and cross generational act. The first time I heard "Time is Running Out" I thought it was Radio Head getting loud again. Nothing wrong with being a Deftones Fan, Chino can be whiny but he' still the best ALT Metal Vocalist/Storyteller. I'm almost 40 and been a KoRn fan since I was 13, nothing wrong with owning the style of music you enjoy the most.
Don't worry too much about your music not sounding uniform enough. Songs can vary from one another. I actually think it shows talent. My favorite band is Thrice. If you look at the music they've put out over the years they change so much from album to album. I think it shows a wide range of talent. :)
yoooooo Everything Everything mentioned! they're my 2nd favorite band of all time. think maybe you could do something in their style someday? edit: just got to halfway thru the vid where you say they're too hard to pull off. that's fair tbh but it'd still be awesome
6:54 I really respect that you stick to your guns on so-called "niche" covers. My friend would play Semi-Charmed Life on repeat in Warzone and it always irritated me being completely in major, but I got hooked on your Incubus version of that and American Idiot, and got into Incubus itself where I otherwise never would have. I imagine it would suck being creatively boxed-in doing only popular requests like SOAD/Korn, and it would do the audience a disservice whether they realize it or not because it doesn't expand or challenge their music taste. As an aside, the only thing I'd critique you for is NOT releasing full versions of your YT shorts acoustic covers like the AIC Would/Nutshell, A7X Bat Country, or the In the End. They are all fantastic and we need more raw acoustic covers like yours in general, but I understand if those covers are difficult to do vocally.
Love your content! Ever thought about putting your original songs and the fantasy covers to bandcamp? Some people (like me) don't use streaming services and this would be a nice alternative.
