i have hooded eyes and use eyeshadow primers, but my experience is the same, that they make it harder to blend eyeshadows. i use a translucent face powder in my crease and above to regain the blend-ability. if i use one that isn't translucent, it mixes with the colors of my eyeshadow, for example a blue eyeshadow will turn a bit green where it met the face powder. im using the milani primer, but i also stand by the $4 elf one. sometimes tho i will purposely go without an eye primer, wear a smudgy liner, and let my natural oils and eye movements move the makeup around throughout the day just for the vibe. haha anyways i love this series!!!
Loving the uncut videos, as a Scot your accent was pretty good 👍🏻 😂. I usually put the shadow on the brush then spray it to avoid spraying the palette, but maybe your way is better. I will need to try it and see if there’s a difference in application 💞
When water or sprays harden pigment, I just use a small piece of scotch tape to lift off the hardened top layer on the powder and the product is good as new!
Well I received your makeup brushes from Spectrum. I’ve been eyeballing them since they’ve come out. They sat in the box for weeks. I’m a makeup artist for decades and have the best of the best brushes except for rephr. Can I just say how impressed I am with the quality, the weight and structure of the handles, the softness of the bristles. The color is amazing. Now I want the whole set as I only bought the smaller set. Brilliant job!

i am also not a fan of primers for eye shadow, i feel like i make a stain that cannot be blended out, so could you tell how do you prepare the eye lid before applying shadows? i am a makeup artist and area around the eyes is still the biggest issue for me, how to conceal and color correct without making it cakey or unnatural, thank you.
