I started installing Windows 2016 with DHCP to give out IP addresses to some clients, but I never got my lab to work correctly. It would be nice to have a step-by-step tutorial to create a Windows server lab on Hyper-V with some clients getting an IP from the server. Thanks!
Troy - at 6:15 you said "intercept that boot" what did you mean by that...... that is where I am stuck .... I click connect - start - then I have a black screen that says "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD..." and below that is says ">> Start PXE over IPV4" - and thats as far as it goes before Hyper V times out. Thanks for the videos.
Hi Jason, What I meant by "intercept the boot" is that I simply click my mouse into the VM window when it opens and hit a key (my preference is the spacebar) to make the machine boot from the ISO image. You only have a few seconds to hit a key before it resorts to the PXE boot. Hope that clears it up!

I get a bluescreen as soon as the iso boots up right after the windows logo, am running win10 pro, any fix ?

is it possible to run windows server on hyper-v on a physical hardware with windows server as the host OS? is that recommended or not?
