Hearts open to our Canadian neighbors who have/are going through so much with the fires. We're getting Canadian smoke in MN but in upper level winds at the moment. Breeze off Lake Superior is keeping air clear.
Telling you Chrome…summer is not the season for you to travel far. You need to stay near the shop. You are right…travel when it’s cooler, in the spring and the fall.
Chrome, you’re wasting your time driving around in the fire season, turn around and head back to the shop and help out with Lauren doing that bus build and go back out in the fall..COMMON SENSE 😂😂😂👍👍👍☮️
I wanted to tell you I think that red shirt that you have on is just great it’s very surprising because normally we don’t see you wearing anything but black. You look very handsome in the red and should wear that more often
Chrome, I agree with the idea of traveling in the fall and spring - I like winter too. Summer can suck, especially in southern Nevada. So I can build up a huge electric bill have the air conditioning on day and night or get the hell out and go to the ocean in Oregon or Washington hoping for no fires there.. You are very flexible and with your awesome attitude, things have a way of working out!
Love your content! Always refreshing! You know exactly how to live life and such and inspo! Love watching your Channel. Your content is by far the best! We love you and Cruz
I did the flea tick medication for my 2 dogs yesterday. OMG it is a challenge. I tried soaking in bacon grease and mixed in with food. They spit it out. I just put far back in their throat and hold their mouth and rub their neck to get them to swallow. They are now protected from all the bugs. I enjoy your videos. I am hoping to make the trip to Vancouver next year. Safe travels. I live in Connecticut USA.
Brother I really think you should switch your travels like you said. Not only you won't have to worry about fires you also won't have to worry about the heat and dust. Safe travels Brother 🙏
It's so interesting watching this cause I was literally travelling through Cache Creek on the 22nd and you were there 1 day later. Yea, that spot that looks like a salty lake that's all dried up, it's pretty much always like that in the summer. A couple times in my life I've seen it with water in it but not many. I've taken that route to my family cabin in the cariboo a few hundred times at this point in my life, lol.
Hi Chrome, your question about Starlink permanently mounted? It seems to be no problem with about 90% of the storm chasers here in the lower 48, about the only issue is the monster hail, but that's it.
I have seen those weird little tank shaped vehicles that was there at that tesla station. they really look like modernized tanks. I'm kind of afraid that robo-cop might jump out of one of them, someday!
I love these trips, showing us our Canada. I follow because you make it real, and I live your positive attitude. When I give Interceptor and Bravecto to my samoyed, I have to cut it finely almost like a power and mix it with humid cat food.
I’ve considered leaving my Starlink on the roof but 🤷♂️ there’s that new 12v one that takes less power and easier to mount. Beautiful drone shots! Camping next to a lake or near stream/waterfall is always preferred !!
The summers in BC are so sad now. We live in the Lower Mainland and It seems every year the fires are getting worse. Sometimes the smoke does reach us and can be hazy for a few days. We don’t really go anywhere on holidays now because of it. I enjoyed seeing Green Lake as that’s a place we always went when I was young. Haven’t been there for a few years now. I always found it was too cold to swim in haha! Be safe on your travels!
Keep going north Chrome. Like said you were going to. At least if you're going north it'll be cooler whether there is a fire near you or not and you will still be fulfilling your original plan. Stay North my friend stay north!!
Summertime makes it way to crowded and touristy. You fight the hot weather, have to use the AC all the time, Cruz suffers… Spring and Autumn are the best.
Happy to see you have come through our area. There are a lot of beautiful places to camp along Green Lake if you took a back road at 70 Mile House. You would have had an epic time seeing how beautiful the lake really is. Lots of places to camp by the lake with fantastic candy beaches. Hopefully you will stop in on your way when you head south on your way home. Happy trails the Cariboo is a beautiful area to visit..Hwy 24 is also a beautiful drive on the Fishing Hwy...many many lakes...have an adventurous holiday and drive safe.❤
Stick a window AC in one of your back windows. A 5000 btu unit will pull a max of 450 watts when the compressor is on. If you buy one that has a digital thermostat it will maintain temp and run very efficiently in eco mode. It's a $200 fix and your 400ah batteries can easily run that all night. They even come in Black to match your van!!!
It's tradition. You've always traveled in the summer. Seems like there are fires every summer. Every one is saying go back. I say I'm with you whatever you decide. I'm here for the ride. See you next video. Tske care.😊
Put in the BC Wildfire App. It's burning everywhere. Not sure what date this video is but heading north on 97 has alot of fires. Williams lake has had 3 in city area in the last 4 days. Lac la hache has fires and 100 mile has fires. Hwy 16 west has fires and Hwy 16 east has fires. Yukon has fires and Alaska has fires.😢
Most of western Canada is affected by the smoke even Saskatchewan. Best to stay at home to not add a burden to others. I heard many tourists were stranded in Jasper and some had to head towards Kamloops to get back around to Calgary. The new norm lately is smoke in June-Aug... Do trips in spring/fall/winter.
People actually modify their Startlink dishes to remove the stem, and they'll permanently install it on their roof, facing straight up. Chad from Living the Vanlife is a good example of this
Hey Chrome. 1st time commenting hope I get the spelling correct for your name. Anyway. Nice in the Yukon area and lots to see with back roads everywhere. Dawson City. Cool gold town. Plus the most northern town of Atlin Bc. It’s called little Switzerland. Kluane Lake Area is breathtaking. Plus 3 options for entering Alaska. Like Skagway Ak. 100 miles from Whitehorse Yukon. K safe travels
The smoke is terrible there, dang fires. We've got alot of smoke in the air here in Southern Wyoming, it seems that every year it gets worse, we've had hotter than normal temperatures here, and no rain. Time to do the rain dance. Stay Cool & Safe, Blessings 💕
A shame Jasper and Baneaff are burning rom wildfires. I remember seeing the news of fires chasing Ft. Mc Murray burning in Canada. I am in Colorado, USA and we have the heavy Canada Wildfire Smoke coming south into Colorado. Take care Chrome and Chewy.
They are evacuating 0:00 hundreds of people in several part of Alberta. The fire keeps moving. Please be careful and get out of there as fast as you can if they put out evacuation notices.
Because of the way they are designed you can still flat mount them it does effect your connection but lots do it, it’s a trade off but you still get decent internet.
Ah you were so close to my cabin, if I was there and saw you, I’d invite you to stay with my family! Hoping to get up there soon, but two new fires near the lake :(
There is a fire in Oregon, the Durkee Fire and the interstate is closed in both directions and the smoke here in Caldwell, ID is awesome from it.. I've looked at the map for fires in your area and it is nasty. Stay safe.
Only the Beginning of fire season! 104 degrees here today in northwest California. No more traveling to the Live trees this summer.....after the first rains will be Bliss!
Here in the Okanagan we have had 100-115deg f 44-45c for the last week and a bit. Far too hot to travel in the day, if you had a breakdown and could not idle your vehicle Iand run the ac i don't want too even think about it. Best to stay put till it's cooler.
I moved away from Jasper 2 1/2 yrs ago, moved to Kelowna , It got burnt badly last summer, now this year It's jasper... who's next? STAY SAFE Chrome and Cruzy!
Those fires are so sad! I used to live in an area prone to fires every summer 😢 Those pay inside gas stations automatically put back whatever amount you don't use BUT you have to go back in for a receipt 90% of the time! 🤪 Thexflash wears red but that didn't look right. I love Marvel movies! And series! 😁
Our news here in Ontario said there are 300 forest fires in British Columbia aloan! I’m sure it’s gonna be hard to get away from all that smoke like last year. It was the same. Im glad you did find a place with blue sky……Why don’t you come to Ontario? It’s not so bad here we got good air. You can breathe.! Love the drone shots! Masha in Ontario!✌🏻😎
Same as last year! So much smoke we couldn't see Toronto skyline from Lake Ontario New York side. The skies actually turned orange in NYC. Stay safe!!!
Mccarthy Alaska is a dog and human town. You walk everywhere and the dogs are welcome just like their humans. Cooler there. Look it up another youtuber had a short about it.
HEY Chrome ?? !! Hey !Goodlioking ?!! Honey when you go in the store and tell him you want to put $100 in and they run your card put a hold on for $100 then if you only get $60 worth of gas the system automatically just charges you for $60 and let’s go of that $100 hold. That’s the way it is here in USA. Love you love your shower I’ve been with you for years coming to see you soon in Canada.❤️.
The fires in BC got an early start this year, we had to re-route back in May to avoid fires in Ft Nelson - it's mostly clear once you get up to Whitehorse, but that's a crap drive in smoke. We'll be driving back down through it in Sept and I'm already dreading it
That lake was awesome and I sure would have been finding away to stay there 😅. Sad about the fires 🔥 😢 I hate to see our beautiful mountains ⛰️ burn every year, prayers for all of the people that had to evacuate . Head north to cooler weather. We also camp early in the spring and layer in the fall more enjoyable to have a campfire at night and hiking without sweating 😓. Smooches for Cruzie 💋 🐾 🦴 hope you find a cool shade tree 🌳 and more cool places to swim Cruzie🐾🐾 ✌️✌️😎
Beautiful shots, as usual. 📷🌅 We had some terrible Smokey days here last summer. Grateful that we’ve been good so far this summer. Even with the heat we’re getting.
Do not park on the side of the road or street...that is inviting disaster.
ive been sleeping on the side of roads and streets for just about 7 years. I AM NOT DEAD YET. Where the ____ Are vanlifers supposed to sleep then?
Chrome...Love the out on the road content! Cant wait to get my wife some of that Lady merch!
Instead of meting out more do's and do not's, let's be adults and use common sense.
I get what ur saying..but Chrome is right where else? he can't always park at Walmart!
It's fine if done safely. Gotta use common sense.
Be smart. Be safe. Prayers for all of the people and animals affected by these fires.
need more than prayers to get to the root cause of wildfires - it's called climate change and needs both bottom up and top down action
Hearts open to our Canadian neighbors who have/are going through so much with the fires. We're getting Canadian smoke in MN but in upper level winds at the moment. Breeze off Lake Superior is keeping air clear.
I do all my traveling in the spring and fall . Milder weather and smaller crowds
Telling you Chrome…summer is not the season for you to travel far. You need to stay near the shop. You are right…travel when it’s cooler, in the spring and the fall.
And winters are even more difficult. Maybe he should do traveling in the states. Going down to washinton. Oregon. California
🔥We live in Colorado and the Canadian wild fires have a “Air Quality Alert” triggered here. Safe travels Chrome.🔥
I'll be on my way to New Mexico in one week. I hope that's not happening in Taos New Mexico!
When in doubt, turn about.
The cyber truck looks like a rolling dumpster
Watch your fingers! Careful of the fires!
Right? They're the ugliest thing ever!
One of my neighbors has one. They are UGLY!
Be safe chrome and cruzie. Don't take chances not worth it. Please think of cruzie and how it will affect him.
the fact that Jasper is burning to the ground makes me sad af. that place is too beautiful to burn!
Find a lake! There are hundreds around there.
When a place is evacuated, doesn't mean that it burned..
Climate change is REAL!!!!
Fire is a part of nature...the forests thrive with it
Well.there is an out of control fire in Jasper Park as of 2 hours ago.@@compose-yourlife1
Chrome, you’re wasting your time driving around in the fire season, turn around and head back to the shop and help out with Lauren doing that bus build and go back out in the fall..COMMON SENSE 😂😂😂👍👍👍☮️
Personally, I like the term "fuster-cluck" for explaining exactly what happened.
I wanted to tell you I think that red shirt that you have on is just great it’s very surprising because normally we don’t see you wearing anything but black. You look very handsome in the red and
should wear that more often
You and Cruzie Bear stay safe. It was so beautiful after you got away from the smoke. Prayers going out for all affected by the fires ❤❤❤
Driving the Dempster Highway to Tuktoyaktuk. Then you can see the arctic ocean and get some cool fresh air.
Chrome, I agree with the idea of traveling in the fall and spring - I like winter too. Summer can suck, especially in southern Nevada. I mow next to the highways in the Edmonton area and I’m really noticing vehicles with their star links on the roof this year
Heck yeah Chrome another video to watch!!!! Stay safe out there with those wildfires.
Brother I really think you should switch your travels like you said. Not only you won't have to worry about fires you also won't have to worry about the heat and dust. Safe travels Brother 🙏
Chrome grease your door !! Doesnt that drive you nuts !
His whole van creaks like mad
Kamloops was clear today.

Wrap the flea and tick medication in a cheese slice or peanut butter, works for our pets 😊

Another 23 km you could be at Greeny Lake just outside Lac La Hache... I've always had luck stopping in there

Those white lakes are called Alkai Lakes. Remnants of volcanic activity
Summertime makes it way to crowded and touristy. You fight the hot weather, have to use the AC all the time, Cruz suffers…
Spring and Autumn are the best.
Please be careful. I dont like to travel in the hot weather. My trips are in spring and fall. You two have fun. Hugs and kisses.
Chrome, get the Star Mount for your Star Link 🍻
missed out not staying at Cariboo bonanza, some great camping spots right on the lake shoe.
Happy to see you have come through our area. There are a lot of beautiful places to camp along Green Lake if you took a back road at 70 Mile House. Hey Chrome if you hate that gas issue come to New Jersey where you're not allowed to pump it yourself
I like the idea traveling during fall
Stick a window AC in one of your back windows. A 5000 btu unit will pull a max of 450 watts when the compressor is on. I cruise and learned the hard way to avoid sumner season. The only place to go then on a cruise is to Alaska.
Otherwise it’s just tooooo hot.
No smoke in Victoria....16°C at noon.
I’m in Texas where it will be 90°f today, or about 32° for you. Your temperatures sound way better that mine! 🥰🤣
white lithium grease on the hinges dude
🤣👍🏽 I was thinking a small can of spray silicone, LOL!
7:02 gettin those onlyvan shots

That is so sad I feel bad so bad those people you and Cruze stay safe yeehaw from us East Texans
People actually modify their Startlink dishes to remove the stem, and they'll permanently install it on their roof, facing straight up. Chad from Living the Vanlife is a good example of this
It's bad out here in Alberta.
I agree that you could travel in spring and fall and stay at the shop in the summer 👍👍👍☮️

It was the same thing last year if you’ll remember. Here in California too. It’s so sad for man and animals. Just stay safe.
You guys may be getting some smoke from the USA this year. We're having a lot of fires because of the extreme heat across the states.
The smoke is terrible there, dang fires. We've got alot of smoke in the air here in Southern Wyoming, it seems that every year it gets worse, we've had hotter than normal temperatures here, and no rain. Time to do the rain dance.

I'd say come out this way, but we are almost just as smoky now 😢
Be safe my friend!
You should live-stream from the drone sometime. It’s a simple set up.
Green Lake is so beautiful! PS No smoke in Terrace and Prince Rupert.
They are evacuating 0:00 hundreds of people in several part of Alberta. The fire keeps moving. Please be careful and get out of there as fast as you can if they put out evacuation notices.

People are losing their fingers in the hood.
@@victoriabaker4400Don't put ur finger anywhere you'd put your dyck
I just heard about Jasper and am freaking out.
Leaving your starlink permanently on your roof would attract thieves
Because of the way they are designed you can still flat mount them it does effect your connection but lots do it, it’s a trade off but you still get decent internet.
@AboveAverageMan97 lmfao you must of never been here my friend.
@AboveAverageMan97 no originally Ontario, been out in New Brunswick for 5 years was the same there as Ontario, drugs and theft run rampant.
That little red action figure reminded me of the old rocket socket robot game
We saw that car on the island!!! Looks so futuristic
I think Starlink has a different version that you can attach to your roof.
What about along the coast? Ocean breezes?
109f in Sacramento today. Miserable and I work in an unconditioned shop.
Ah you were so close to my cabin, if I was there and saw you, I’d invite you to stay with my family! Hoping to get up there soon, but two new fires near the lake :(

I saw that same cyber truck in Eureka California a week or two ago

Phoenix Az. Always had beautiful sunsets due to the smog from pollution.
Those fires are so sad! I used to live in an area prone to fires every summer 😢 Those pay inside gas stations automatically put back whatever amount you don't use BUT you have to go back in for a receipt 90% of the time! 🤪
Thexflash wears red but that didn't look right. I love Marvel movies! And series! 😁
it was an Iron Man action figure.
I remember orange air days in California. Best for your lungs and brain to bail on that.
There is a really nice rest stop past 100 mile
Lots of smoke in Calgary area too chrome just fyi
I’m also in Calgary. It got gross today 😶🌫️

Mccarthy Alaska is a dog and human town. You walk everywhere and the dogs are welcome just like their humans. Cooler there. Look it up another youtuber had a short about it.
There are flat mounts for starlink. Some 3D printed
I've stopped at the rest area for an overnighter many times.
