Technically they've never left. The problem is that it seems like these days it's one or the other. Either you get regular weekly map changes but they're relatively small. Or you get HUGE Map changes at the start of the season but little to none during it...
Just another note on the story line. As you pointed out, Sloan tells Jonesy "Keep the fires burning". Look around the island. ALL the fire pits are burnt, and unable to be used.
I wonder if that's a glitch though...
It looks to be intentional, We are outside of the islands actual time stream so everything on the island except the storm is literally frozen in a moment in time. We believe that in this "moment" of the island we arrived moments after the fires were "Snuffed Out" so to speak.

They are actually usable, just that in zero build you aren't able to turn them back up since you need mats (might be wrong though)
@@C-3401-og. We have been unable to use any in Zero Build since the last update, will have to check again. All campfires we have come across have been in the burnt state and we have been unable to interact with them so we just stopped trying. Will try again next tiem we log in.

1. We are at a point In chapter 1 after the Visitor crashed landed
2. He never Time Traveled in the original timeline, as apparent by the fact Jone’s has now changed the Timeline.
it cant be jones cus in the chapter 2 finale, jones was with the foundation in the bridge, but the visitor and scientist were on the map saving the loopers
The bright light is on the side of the giant mountain, and I swear it wasn’t there before.
Also, Jonesy being the Visitor would make a lot of sense, we heard two different voices during the original rocket launch, and him being a visitor from the future would give him his name.
The bright light might be eminem similar to when travis scott got to the map

That light on the mountain came in chapter 1 season 7 who appearently was The Prisoner because it appeared right after The Prisoner escaped from Polar Peak, with this information it is possible well see him come back in any way possible
Stapping a time machine to a giant rocket with belts is such a "whatever it takes" last stand move i love it
A nice touch with the introduction of Season 7 & 8 and the snow/ice biome would have been a second opportunity to unlock all of The Prisoner variants. This was such a hidden thing the first time around.😭

Theory: what if all of the Seven are dead, but we will bring them back with the time machine
I also wanted to point out that Epic made a fool of themselves last time (Fracture). But to have the audacity to call this event unforgettable really ensures that they have thought about this really hard and can reassure us this will be a good event
The only Seven that's confirmed dead is The Imagined because she was ripped apart by the zero point in the zero wars comic. For the rest of the seven we know The Origin, Scientist, and Visitor are wherever the chrome took them which is "a fate worse than death", The Foundation disappeared leaving only his helmet, The Order left somewhere after the war with IO was finished since her sister died and Paradigm also disappeared after we built the chapter 4 island
Imagine if the visitor was jones all along and the one we had in our original chapter one was from theirs from the future

If you go to dusty divot and look where the old dusty diner sign was, there appears to be some sort of signal machine looking at the light in the distance. It could be a coincidence but it could also mean something.

I’m extra excited for the Big Bang because despite playing Fortnite for 4 years the stars seem to always align perfectly so that I can’t go to any end chapter events so I missed the island flipping, and thankfully I missed fractured
God I may not have fun playing the game, but I really love the story and changes that happen in this game it's hard to leave it sometimes (except for when I did back in chapter 4 season 2 and only came back because season og lol)

I think with ch5 maybe theyre gonna reboot the storyline with new characters (?) or with old ones reamigined

I wish they chose to do the eminem/lego/non story stuff in a separate event at the start of chapter 5 like c2s5. I feel like the event would be better with just the story and that all the crossover stuff might make it a bit overwhelming.
youre totally right, all the lego stuff should be in the next chapter, but i NEED to hear eminem say "snap back to reality" while the whole map changes to chapter 5
I think it would be really cool if we got another resistance season (like when all the I.O. shenanigans happened) Where Thorne had taken over the present island.

@5:35 yes. My GF and kids put our decorations up whilst I was at work 🥺 even worse I woke up with felt pen glasses, dried glue and glitter in my hair and beard (which had also been cut) so I had to shave EVERYTHING off using a number 1 blade 😭😭

I think the glowing "dot" ill say was added in last weeks update. or in the patch update for the lobby background.. although I myself aren't really sure what it is. its over on a mountain that isn't accessible in game.
The light off in the distance has always appeared off the Fortnite island for each island for the last 6 years and I’ve always tried going back to each chapter to see if it’s still there.
This brought me back to your earlier videos in chapter 1. I miss them!
The bright orb that we saw in chapter which contains the cube queen is in the distance on one of the mountains, like it was in late chapter 2
My guess is the light on the mountain is the cube queen because after she was “killed” the same light was on a mountain the next season.
It also goes along because the cube is part of the last reality and it’s next to the zero point.
What is the cube queen? I thought that the cube is the storm king.

The light in the sky was there before the season 9/X update, I remember noticing it during the week before.
2:50 i guessed they would strap it on the rocket.
Jones or somebody else is gonna pilot the rocket and do one of 2 things:
Go head first into the zero point to reset it
Drop it in to reset it again.
I really hope Jonesy becomes The Legend in the event and gets his own badass seven suit in the ch5 battle pass
The weird light north north east is something I’ve noticed and wondered about but didn’t know what to think

The bright light is on a mountain, and that is where the prisoner ran off after escaping the ice king. I'm pretty sure there is a loading screen of it
The Prisoner never went to that mountain, he went to one of the mountains in Paradise Palms if you look at the loading screens terrain

I just want a satisfying conclusion to the Seven storyline. I don't think getting eaten by the chrome was a good way to end their legacy. What ever happened to Amie and did she make contact with them? Are they evil now? So many unanswered questions.

The bright light I was kinda confused about it I didnt realsise untill 2 days ago when the new update came out and played my self I noticed it. But I didnt understand. I knew it was for something and i though it was in the new update.

Crazy theory: in the og cube, there is the origin inside before he became one of the sevens. And maybe in the event we will se him in his og form when he were still the cube king

the dot in the sky could be the return of the hunter, because in chapter 3 she arrived like that

I believe the light is from the giant mountain off of the north of the island. It first got seen there after the prisoner went off the island in Season 7/8

He’s considered divulging it’s purpose many times over the years but has decided not too as the community theory’s we’re cool to him. He did hint that it actually serves a purpose and that it is INCREDIBLY MUNDANE and basically useless to us.

the time machine isnt held on by duct tape and material, theyre held on by ratchets, basically a long piece of fabric that can be tightened by those metal bits.

What if this end event reveals that the reset has happened already back when the visitor landed in season 4, revealing that the visitor was the original jonsey

I have been seeing the bright yellow light in game and, I think it could be the cube queen somehow.
I’m gonna enjoy the last 8 days of the OG island. Take in the sights of pleasant park, The shopping cart mountain, tilted towers, snobby shores. This season is nice closure on our highschool version of ourselves. 😪 epic doesn’t do everything right but thank you for this epic

They were in the Chapter 3 Season 2 trailer so I think they were sent to the island to deal with loopers. Explains the loading screen from season 5 where they are riding the motel sign out of a rift
@@Ty-ur4ji yeah i remember in the trailer they were working with I.O and me and my friend made up a theory that he was called and I.O Agent and they would deal with big problems
The story behind the enforcers is that they were sent to retrieve/put back anything that was rifted during season 5 aka the motel sign, Durr Burger, etc.
I noticed the light in the sky a couple days ago but didn't see any recent info about it or even any notice of it
