- And now, it's time for the moment you've been waiting for!
LucasArts Entertainment Company, LLC, doing business as Lucasfilm Games, is an American video game licensor.
LucasArts was originally founded as Lucasfilm Games in May 1982 by George Lucas as a video game development group alongside his film company; as part of a larger 1990 reorganization of the Lucasfilm divisions, the video game development division was grouped and rebranded as part of the LucasArts Entertainment Company. LucasArts became known for its line of LucasArts adventure games based on its SCUMM in the 1990s, including Maniac Mansion, the Monkey Island series, and several Indiana Jones titles. A number of influential game developers were alumni of LucasArts from this period, including Brian Moriarty, Tim Schafer, Ron Gilbert, and Dave Grossman. Later, as Lucasfilm regained control over its licensing over the Star Wars franchise, LucasArts produced numerous action-based Star Wars titles in the late 1990s and early 2000s, while dropped adventure game development due to waning interest in the genre.
Lucasfilm was wholly acquired by The Walt Disney Company in December 2012, and by April 2013, Disney had announced the shuttering of LucasArts in all but name, keeping the division around to handle licensing of Lucasfilm properties to third-party developers, primarily Electronic Arts, and having any in-house development transferred to Disney Interactive Studios. Disney has since revitalized the Lucasfilm Games brand as the licenser of all Lucasfilm-related properties.

I love the difference in intros between games. Felt like the developers cared back then
They did.
19:02 The Best intro
Rip LucasArts
Think again. Disney revived LucasArts as Lucasfilm Games.
@@EthanAnania Think again. The company was shuttered but they kept the name as a branding title. There is no Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts development studio.
Oh come on Lucas art is not R.I.P its Still alive
I agree! @@joseneira4163
19:22 is the objectively best intro
15:53 is in my opinion the most badass intro..... I grew up with this game
12:20 - My childhood in a sound.
22:54 You knew just from the logo and main menu that you were jumping into an immersive experience like no other.
24:16 this will never get old I love it
The only sound as iconic to me would have to be the Xbox 360 startup sound. I loved the power Force Unleashed gave me.
Something that always was curious to me was that the second game's version had more grunting and audio compression. Doesn't sound as spacious without the echo either. Strange considering it's the same intro.
Literally searched Lucasarts logos just to hear this.
24:16 was what I'd always hear when it was time to have fun as a kid. Force Unleashed was so good.
20:27 to 21:14 was astounding
24:16 I’ve probably seen the force unleashed one like 100 times. I’m playing the game right now! Lmao
21:50 is pretty cool
I miss Lucas art this brings back my childhood memories😢 i just hope it returns
Don't worry, LucasArts came back as Lucasfilm Games three years ago.

17:38 my favorite one
6:38 first time ruined the guy
I remember seeing some LucasArts logos when I was a preteen especially Sony PS2 versions. I've been playing some LucasArts games on Sony PS2, Sony PS1, Microsoft Xbox 360, PC and Microsoft Xbox One (some classic Xbox original versions of Star Wars games).
LucasArts was probably one of the best video game companies in the world. LucasArts shut down by Disney in spring 2013 after their 2012 purchase of Lucasfilm but name, keeping the division around to handle licensing of Lucasfilm properties to third-party developers, primarily Electronic Arts, and having any in-house development transferred to Disney Interactive Studios. Disney has, since 2021, revitalized the Lucasfilm Games brand as the licenser of all Lucasfilm-related properties.
Anyway greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
Love it!
Love all them but 22:06 will always be a favorite. Loved Secret Weapons Over Normandy. Hoping it gets a rerelease like the other LucasArts games lately.
6:55 8:27 Love It!
10:14 My Fav Intro
12:34 now I am curious about this title
"LUCASARTS " (Lucasfilm GAMES)
1983-2013 / 2020-
As much as I liked the old Lucasarts logo, the Force Unleashed was an S tier intro for me.
24:16
The 2006 logo reminds me of corus entertainment
The logo looks grungier in logos from 1995 to 2001
So wait….Lucas art’s actual started as a video game company for dos before they made Star Wars?
Inclduing Indiana Jones?
10:14 my favorite
I remember playing a few games from LucasArts / Lucasfilm Games, such as Star Wars Battlefront 1 (the original, not the EA remake), Thrillville: Off the Rails, and a few Lego Star Wars games (way before WB Games published a couple of Lego Star Wars games).
My favorite video games by Lucasfilm Games are the Star Wars Jedi series (Fallen Order and Survivor).
I cannot wait to play Star Wars Outlaws in 2024!

Do you think that Disney is ever thinking on remastering the games that was developed by Lucas arts I hope not
I think it would be cool. Like the Rogue Squadron games remastered in modern graphics ala Battlefront.
I dont want them to.
Nope. But Sega does.
I HOPE yes
24:17 The New Lucasarts Logo Is Better Than The Old One From The 2000s comparing to the Star Wars and Indiana Jones games
