I love Rust electricity, and that was the best explanation for a memory cell I have ever heard.

I think I need to watch this video like 50 more times. Wasn't expecting there to be so much to do with electricity.

nice video bro, very well structured aswell so its easy to get an overview without being confused. definitely helpful for me as a beginner, keep it coming mate

One thing to add is that Storage Monitors allow you to see the contents of what they're attached to, through the Rust+ app, so offline. Examples would be: see if you have sold anything through your vending machine, or see your TC upkeep.

You can also make music with it. It does need a lot of timed switches and items that cause a sound for just a sec.
Also, generators can be set in your base and triggred via wire when some1 steps on a bear rug. This is realy usefull when the other players take out outside power and just wait for your base to power down while you sleep. When they door raid you, they step on bear rug and this triggers a generator that powers the inside turret till it runs out of oil. This setup saved me a lot from offline door raiders.
If you have a player you realy realy hate (like roofcamper), you can abuse search light by setting it on timer to turn on and off every sec (and you place 3 next to each other), while they are protected by a window. Then you turn them into a roofcamper base and laugh, while they lose their mind.
And i have seen people using igniters to crash rust servers when they were realy mad with fireworks :P

The seismic sensor is useless if you have Sam Sites unless you bleed off 2 power and have the 3rd power go to your smart alarm.
My sam sites on my base set off the seismic sensor every single time. Even if I put sam sites on their own foundations next to my base. They still set off my seismic sensors inside of my base. The seismic sensor outputs 3 power when activated if it is being activated by C4 or rockets. The only way I could get the seismic sensors to not blow up my phone with Rust+ alerts everytime my Sam Sites went off was to hook it up to 2 simple lights and have the 3rd connection be a smart alarm.

Best intro to rust electricity, period. Should be required learning before proceeding to any other electricity video or guide.

This was very helpful. Could you perhaps make a video on key electrical components used for common wipes, like powering lights, setting up efurnaces, turrets, etc?

My recommendation for anyone looking to use electricity:
Combine all of your power with a group of root combiners, lead that into a splitter, and put those leads into two batteries.
This allows you to charge your batteries effectively, makes wire management easy, and allows you to have a second battery for logic circuits.

Glad I finally know what a blocker, memory cell, RAND switch, OR switch, AND switch, and XOR switch do so I can continue to never use them!

A couple things of importance to not mess up your circuits.
Solar panels need to face the sun indeed, but where is the sun?
A few years ago solar panels needed to face the center of the map vertically, so if your base is in the north-west corner, the panels had to face sharp south for maximum charge during the day, and NOT south-east. They changed this after a couple years, and now they need to face sharp north for maximum charge regardless of where your base is. So always put the panels facing north, even if the sun comes from the east.
3:33 Careful with this. Root combiners will take the maximum output of a battery. So if for whatever reason you're min-maxing and using 2 small batteries to feed a switch and two auto-turrets exactly 20 power, merging them with a combiner for the switch will drain 30p (15p+15p) instead from the battery, not 20p, and so you will need 2 solar panels (40p) to not run out of energy even during the day. Personally I'd avoid using a combiner for merging batteries. Place 2 switches if you're using 2 turrets but can't fit anything bigger than small batteries in your build.
I tried, and failed, to set up a system with counters to know which of my 4 auto-turrets killed somebody near my base. The grass was so abundant that finding the bodies was a pain. Using lights linked to the "has target" thing was no good because the turrets would get the kill in 1-2 seconds, which was far shorter than it would take me to reach the room with the lights. I tried counters too but they all said 0, so I was truly doomed to be denied the naked loot.
