It does the call 3 times in this video Be sure to check my Facebook page for my latest video postings, early releases & extra stuff : Da-Nature-Ph... Thanks
We have two of these who regularly visit our garden to pick up the seed from our bird feeders. Unfortunately we won’t have them or any other wildlife for long as the local council has sold the next door organic farm and it’s acres to a housing developer who will cram the land with tiny box sized expensive houses no local person will be able to afford. Another farm gone for good along with the food it grew.
@@dannature7535 bears, mountain lions wolves and other predators in the North American continent (where I assume you are from) have killed less people than cows each year. And living in small town America I can say for certain that that “little farm” produced a ton of food for that community. And simp does not apply here.
Very disheartening and all too common. I am very sorry to hear that. This is why we need organizations like Pheasants Forever -thus caring hunters as well- more than ever. I know it sounds ironic and nonsensical but it really isn’t. I encourage anyone and everyone to look into the affect hunters, as well as the conservation groups/agencies they fund, have on wild lands and wildlife. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. 😊 *Edited for wording and grammar
Now I know what that noise was. I hear that noise once in awhile in the mornings cause I live out in the country. I get lot of pheasants around my area.
thats right, quite a few birds can it means they can quickly check the situation behind them in case they need to fly off otherwise they would have to turn their body
Depends on where you live and the local ordinances. Where I live, you can... but if you're raising them to release into the wild, you need a special permit.

It's sad to hear that, is it in the US ? UK ? Canada ?

Sounds like Canada.
Fun hints: The Japanese green pheasant is, Falco Lombardi from star fox, Revali from Zelda, and Phil from animal crossing.
Sorry to be that guy but Falco is designed after raptor species and Revali most likely after a mix of jays and raptors.

I just learned this today, I always just figured my neighbors had some kind if possessed chicken lol

It's like it's trying to be a chicken but can't cockadoodledoo

what was the bird sound at the very beginning?
Hi Jennifer, it's probably blackbirds or Chafinches, could be house martins as well
What a little beauty. Xx💟💟
Thanks Mandy :)
Que coisa mais linda este pássaro!
Obrigado :)
No wonder domestic chickens were evolved from the world like these.

Can turn head 180°
Yeah but sadly that's only because they're so low on the food chain.

Pheasant soup is the best!
Can we keep this at home?

Yes! Try it, give them non GM grains and treat em kindly, I never eat mine but I eat the eggs they make.
Is this a male or a female ????
Male :)
Dan Nature He’s beautiful
That's a male you tell by the colours the females ( still beautiful) but duller in colour.
